The six know that they are without characteristics. Even up to the knowledge of all aspects, know that they are without characteristics. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, he abides in the five aggregates of grasping as being like a dream. He abides in the five aggregates of grasping as being like an illusion, like a mirage, like a moon in water, like an optical illusion, like an echo, like an image, like a city of gandharvas, like a magical creation, and he perfects the Perfection of Morality. Subhuti, that Bodhisattva Mahasattva also knows the five aggregates of grasping as being like a dream. Like an illusion, like a mirage, like a moon in water, like an optical illusion, like an echo, like an image, like a city of gandharvas, like a magical creation. Having known this, the Perfection of Morality is without characteristics, indestructible, unblemished, faultless, untroubled, undiminished, empowered, praised by the wise, perfectly complete, become noble, without outflows, included in the path, transcendent of the world, and thus he perfects it. Abiding in this, he guards the morality that possesses the sign of correct reception, as well as the morality attained by Dharma-nature, the morality of vows, the morality of focus, the morality of conduct, and the morality of non-conduct. Although he possesses such morality, he does not (think): "By this, may I be born equal to the caste of great and high-born Kshatriyas, or to the great and high-born Brahmins, or to the great and high-born householders," or "May I become a petty king, or a Chakravartin king," or "May I be born equal to the gods of the Four Great Kings' race," or "To the Thirty-three, or to the Yama, or to the Tushita, or to the Nirmanarati, or to the gods of the Paranirmitavasavartin," or "May I attain the fruit of Stream-enterer," or "The fruit of Once-returner, or the fruit of Non-returner, or Arhatship, or Pratyekabuddhahood, or may I attain Bodhi," thus (he does not cling to) morality.
