Again, I dedicate this root of virtue to perfect enlightenment, dedicating it in such a way that it does not transform into a perception of duality, nor does it transform into a perception of non-duality. The Blessed One said: "Kaukauśika, it is so, it is so. It is so, it is so, just as you have said. Kaukauśika, those who rejoice in these who generate the mind of enlightenment will quickly please the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Having pleased them, they will not go against their intentions. Thus, those who possess the root of virtue of generating the mind of enlightenment, endowed with rejoicing, wherever they are born, will be served, honored, respected, and worshipped. They will never see an unpleasant form, never hear an unpleasant sound, never smell an unpleasant odor, never taste an unpleasant flavor, never touch an unpleasant touch, never know an unpleasant dharma. They will never be separated from the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, going from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, attending to and honoring those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, and increasing their roots of virtue. Why is that? Kaukauśika, it is because those sons and daughters of good families have rejoiced in the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas who have newly entered the Great Vehicle, who have entered into practice, who are irreversible, who are bound by one more birth, who are immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable. Because those roots of virtue increase, they are close to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Having attained unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, they will completely liberate immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable beings from suffering. Kaukauśika, in this way, the sons or daughters of good families

Therefore, one should rejoice in the roots of virtue of those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have newly entered the vehicle without mind and without anything else that is not mind, and dedicate them to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. One should also rejoice in the roots of virtue of those who have practiced without mind and without anything else that is not mind, who are irreversible, and who are bound by one lifetime, and dedicate them to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, how can a mind like an illusion become perfectly and completely enlightened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, what do you think? Do you truly see a mind like an illusion?" Subhuti replied: "Blessed One, no, I do not. Blessed One, I have not truly seen an illusion, nor have I truly seen a mind like an illusion." The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, what do you think?

That which is extremely secluded will not fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and non-existent dharmas will also not fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because, Blessed One, all dharmas that become afflicted or become purified are non-existent and completely non-existent. Why is that?
