Then, are the superknowledges, the samādhis, and the doors of dhāraṇī also non-conceptual? Are the powers of the Tathāgata, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddha also non-conceptual? Is even the state of all-knowingness non-conceptual? Are the conditioned realm and the unconditioned realm also non-conceptual? Subhūti said: Āyuṣmān Śāradvatīputra, all dharmas are non-conceptual. He said: Āyuṣmān Subhūti, if all dharmas are non-conceptual in that way, then from where do the distinctions of sentient beings revolving in the five realms of hell, the birth place of animals, the world of Yama, gods, and humans come? From where do the designations of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, arhat, solitary buddha, bodhisattva, and Buddha Bhagavān arise? Subhūti said: Āyuṣmān Śāradvatīputra, those sentient beings who manifestly perform actions of body, speech, and mind arising from perverted thoughts, those who manifestly accomplish such birth places, and whose karmic maturation is based on aggregates, having taken hold of what arises from conceptualization, accomplish the realms of hell, the birth place of animals, the world of Yama, and the realms of gods and humans. Āyuṣmān Śāradvatīputra, as you say, from where does the designation of stream-enterer arise? And the designations of once-returner, non-returner, arhat, solitary buddha, bodhisattvas, and Tathāgata Arhat Samyaksaṃbuddha, from where do they arise? Āyuṣmān Śāradvatīputra, it is from non-conceptualization that one speaks of stream-enterer. It is from non-conceptualization that one speaks of the fruit of stream-entry. It is from non-conceptualization that one speaks of once-returner, non-returner, and arhat. It is from non-conceptualization that one speaks of solitary buddha and solitary enlightenment. It is from non-conceptualization that one speaks of Buddha.

Oṃ. Bodhi is spoken of as arising from non-conceptualization. Sharadvatiputra, in the past, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas, however many Buddhas appeared, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also had no conceptualization and had abandoned conceptualization. Sharadvatiputra, in the future, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas, however many Buddhas will appear, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also will have no conceptualization and will abandon conceptualization. Sharadvatiputra, in the present, in the ten directions of the world, however many Buddhas, the Bhagavat, manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also have no conceptualization and have utterly abandoned conceptualization. Thus, Sharadvatiputra, by these terms, one should strive for the suchness of all dharmas without conceptualization, and the suchness of the true limit, and the suchness of the element of dharma, and one should know it without conceptualization. Sharadvatiputra, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should thus practice the Prajnaparamita of non-conceptualization, and by practicing the Prajnaparamita of non-conceptualization, one will manifestly and completely awaken to all non-conceptual dharmas and become a Buddha. From the Twenty-five Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita, the forty-eighth chapter is finished. The forty-eighth chapter.
