If I wish to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, may I attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. May my attention to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment be completely purified. May I not have the mind of a Hearer. May I not have the mind of a Solitary Buddha. Because I do not have the mind of a Hearer or a Solitary Buddha, may I attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. I will not fail to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. I will certainly not be devoured by demons, and I will attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. In countless and immeasurable world realms, as many Buddhas, Blessed Ones, abide and maintain, and those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly and Completely Awakened Ones who teach the Dharma, there is nothing that they do not know, do not see, do not comprehend, do not manifest, or do not fully awaken to. Do those Buddhas, Blessed Ones, comprehend my thought that I will attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? By that truth and word of truth, may this man or woman who is seized or tormented by any non-human being, may that non-human being depart! Having thought thus, he speaks. Subhuti, if after a Bodhisattva Mahasattva has spoken thus, that non-human being does not depart, Subhuti, it should be known that that Bodhisattva Mahasattva has not been predicted to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment by the past Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly and Completely Awakened Ones. Subhuti, if after a Bodhisattva Mahasattva has spoken thus, that non-human being departs, Subhuti, it should be known that that Bodhisattva Mahasattva has been predicted to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment by the past Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly and Completely Awakened Ones.

Furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses those aspects, those qualities, and those characteristics should be known as irreversible. Furthermore, Rabjor, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not practice the six perfections, lacks skillful means, does not practice the mindfulness, the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the liberations, the successive abidings in absorption, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, and if the Bodhisattva does not flawlessly comprehend the blessing of truth, then the evil Mara will come near. Rabjor, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva performs the blessing of truth, and with truth and truthful words says, 'By the truth and truthful words with which I was prophesied to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment by the previous Tathagatas, Arhats, perfect and complete Buddhas, may this non-human depart!' However, the evil Mara will diligently try to make that which has become a non-human depart in any way possible. Why is that? It is because the evil Mara is more powerful and glorious than that non-human. Therefore, by the blessing of the evil Mara, that non-human will have departed. However, that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will think, 'Thus, by my power, that non-human has departed,' but will not know that the non-human has departed by the power of Mara. Therefore, that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will despise, ridicule, belittle, revile, and disdain other Bodhisattvas, and will say, 'I have been prophesied to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment by the previous Tathagatas, Arhats, perfect and complete Buddhas, but these others have not been prophesied to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment.'
