Thus, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas Good Protector, Jewel Source, Jewel Heart, Jewel Giving, Excellent Guide, Gift Given by a Man, Protector Hidden, Water Lord God, Power Given, Strength of Goodness, Excellent Wisdom, Noble Wisdom, Increasing Wisdom, Limitless Wisdom, Seeing Meaning, Unobstructed Wisdom, Fully Entered, Subduing with Supreme Power, Limitless Diligence, Constant Diligence, Constant Practice, Unwavering Diligence, Essence of the Sun, Essence of the Moon, Incomparable Wisdom, Avalokiteśvara, Possessing Great Power, Mañjuśrī Kumārabhūta, Utterly Destroying the Power of Māra, Vajra Wisdom, Holding a Jewel Mudrā in Hand, Constantly Extending the Arm, Great Compassionate Mind, Great Adornment, King of Various Adornments, Heap of Mountains, Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Maitreya, and others, hundreds of thousands of millions of koṭis of Bodhisattvas, all dwell united with them and skillful means. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan himself, having arranged the lion throne, straightened his body and stood upright, having established mindfulness, sat in the vajra posture. Having sat there, he entered into the samadhi called the King of Samadhis, in which all samadhis gather, are contained, follow, and will gather. Then, the Bhagavan, with mindfulness and perfect knowledge, arose from that samadhi and gazed upon this Buddha-field with his divine eye. Having gazed thus, he emitted light from his entire body, and from the two soles of his feet, which possessed wheels with a thousand spokes, arose sixty-six hundred thousand millions of koṭis of rays of light. From the ten fingers of the hands, sixty-six million trillion rays of light also arose. Similarly, from the two forearms of the hands, the two shoulders of the body, the neck, the four fangs, the forty teeth, the two eyes, the two ears, the two nostrils of the nose, the white hair between the eyebrows, the crown of the head, and from the mouth, sixty-six million trillion rays of light also arose. All those sixty-six million trillion rays of light, with great light, pervaded all these realms of the three-thousand-great-thousand world system. With great light, they pervaded the world systems of the east, as many as the sands of the Ganges River. Were assured of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Then again, the Blessed One, with the light of the Thus-Gone One's own nature, pervaded this three-thousand great thousandfold world system with great light. In the east, he pervaded world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and in the directions below and above, in each direction he pervaded world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River with great light. Whatever sentient beings saw that light, and whatever that light touched, all of them were assured of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Then the Blessed One extended the power of his tongue from the door of his mouth, and having covered this entire three-thousand great thousandfold world system with the power of his tongue, he smiled. From that power of his tongue, countless billions of rays of various colors emanated. On all those rays were many lotuses, made of various jewels, appearing golden in color, possessing a thousand petals, dwelling in various forms, beautiful to behold, pleasing, of good color, fragrant, soft, and comfortable to the touch like Kacalindika. On those lotuses also dwelt many bodies of the Thus-Gone One. Thus, teaching the Dharma endowed with the six perfections, they went to world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the east, and having gone to those places, they taught this Dharma endowed with the six perfections. They went to the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and to the directions below and above, to world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in each direction.
