It should be examined thus. The liberations are empty, it should be examined thus. The samadhis abiding in the ultimate state are empty, it should be examined thus. The doors of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness are empty, it should be examined thus. The superknowledges are empty, it should be examined thus. The samadhis are empty, it should be examined thus. The doors of dharani are empty, it should be examined thus. The powers of the Tathagata are empty, it should be examined thus. The fearlessnesses are empty, it should be examined thus. The individual correct knowledges are empty, it should be examined thus. Great love is empty, it should be examined thus. Great compassion is empty, it should be examined thus. The unshared qualities of the Buddha are empty, it should be examined thus. The desire realm is empty, it should be examined thus. The form realm is empty, it should be examined thus. The formless realm is empty, it should be examined thus. If one examines in this way, the mind will not be distracted, so it should be examined thus. Because one is endowed with a non-distracted mind, one does not truly see those dharmas. Because one does not truly see those dharmas, one does not realize them. Why is that? It is because the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having trained in the emptiness of all dharmas by their own characteristics, does not make distinctions in any dharma. All those dharmas, such as what realizes, what is realized, and by what it is realized, are not truly seen. Subhuti said: "Bhagavan, as the Bhagavan said, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not realize the empty dharmas. Bhagavan, how does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abide in emptiness without realizing emptiness?" The Bhagavan said: "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva thoroughly understands the most excellent emptiness endowed with all aspects, but does not realize it. He does not think, 'I will realize it.' He does not think, 'It is to be realized, it is to be familiarized with.'
