Where are the four not to be found? Where to abide and where to strive, such great loving-kindness is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such great compassion is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such fruit of stream-enterer is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such fruit of once-returner is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such fruit of non-returner is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such state of Arhat is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such self-awakening is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such knowledge of the aspects of the path is not to be found. Where to abide and where to strive, such all-knowingness is not to be found. Furthermore, Kaushika, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he neither unites with form nor separates from form. When he neither unites with form nor separates from form, at that time, he strives in form. He neither unites with feeling nor separates from feeling. When he neither unites with feeling nor separates from feeling, at that time, he strives in feeling. He neither unites with perception nor separates from perception. When he neither unites with perception nor separates from perception, at that time, he strives in perception. He neither unites with formation nor separates from formation. When he neither unites with formation nor separates from formation, at that time, he strives in formation. He neither unites with consciousness nor separates from consciousness. When he neither unites with consciousness nor separates from consciousness, at that time, he strives in consciousness. He neither unites with the eye nor separates from the eye.
