The fruit of non-returning exists. The Arhat himself exists. The Pratyekabuddha enlightenment exists. The knowledge of the aspects of the path itself exists. The Bodhisattva Mahasattvas exist. The Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddhas exist. Kausika, if a son or daughter of good family were to establish as many sentient beings as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River in the eastern world system in the four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, and the five superknowledges, what do you think, Kausika? Would the merit of that son or daughter of good family increase greatly because of that? They replied: Blessed One, it would increase greatly. Sugata, it would increase greatly. The Blessed One said: Kausika, even more so, if a son or daughter of good family were to give this book of the Perfection of Wisdom to others for the purpose of reading, writing, and reciting it, their merit would increase even more. Why is that? Kausika, it is because the undefiled dharmas are extensively taught in this Perfection of Wisdom, and having learned them, the sons or daughters of good family will enter without error, they will enter, they will enter. They will attain the fruit of Stream-entry, they will attain it, they will attain it. They will attain the fruit of Once-returning, they will attain it, they will attain it. They will attain the fruit of Non-returning, they will attain it, they will attain it. They will attain Arhatship itself, they will attain it, they will attain it. Those of the Pratyekabuddha vehicle will attain Pratyekabuddhahood, they will attain it, they will attain it. The Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will also enter the Bodhisattva path without error, they will enter, they will enter. They will awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment.
