Realized knowledge does not focus. Great loving-kindness does not focus. Great compassion does not focus. The Buddha's unmixed dharmas do not focus. The fruit of stream-entry does not focus. The fruit of once-returning does not focus. The fruit of non-returning does not focus. Arhatship itself does not focus. Self-awakening does not focus. Omniscience itself does not focus. Knowledge of the aspects of the path does not focus. Knowledge of all aspects does not focus. Since it does not focus in this way, it does not harm oneself in any way. It does not harm others in any way. It does not harm both in any way. It attains unsurpassed, perfect, complete awakening, and will look distinctly upon the minds of all sentient beings. Why is that? Even the past Thus-Gone Ones, the Arhats, the perfectly and completely awakened Buddhas, trained in this very knowledge-mantra and manifestly, perfectly, completely awakened to unsurpassed, perfect, complete awakening. Those future Thus-Gone Ones, the Arhats, the perfectly and completely awakened Buddhas, will also train in this very knowledge-mantra and manifestly, perfectly, completely awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete awakening. Those present Thus-Gone Ones, the Arhats, the perfectly and completely awakened Buddhas of the ten directions, immeasurable and countless, also awakened manifestly, perfectly, completely to unsurpassed, perfect, complete awakening by training in this very knowledge-mantra. Kaushika, furthermore, even if this Perfection of Wisdom is not held, not recited, not read, not fully understood, and not properly kept in mind, in whatever house, village, town, or city it is written and carried, neither humans nor non-humans will find an opportunity to take advantage of it. Why is that? Because, in order to make offerings to this Perfection of Wisdom, in the three-thousand great thousand world realms, the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the sons of the gods of the Thirty-three, the sons of the gods of Yama, the sons of the gods of Tushita, the sons of the gods of Delightful Transformation, the sons of the gods of Others' Emanations Controlled, and Brahma.
