I, the great lord, the principle of neither taking nor abandoning, the principles of the Buddhas' unmixed Dharma, the principle of neither taking nor abandoning, the principle of knowing all things, the principle of neither taking nor abandoning, the principle of knowing the aspects of the path, the principle of neither taking nor abandoning, the principle of knowing all aspects. It is most wondrous that Bodhisattvas, great beings, uphold the all-knowingness of all aspects in harmony. Then, the Blessed One addressed the fourfold assembly of monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, as well as the Bodhisattvas, great beings, the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the sons of the gods of the Thirty-three, the sons of the gods of Yama, the sons of the gods of Tushita, the sons of the gods of Nirmāṇarati, the sons of the gods of Paranirmita-vaśavartin, the sons of the gods of the Brahma retinue, the sons of the gods of Brahmapāriṣadya, the sons of the gods of Mahābrahmā, the sons of the gods of Ābhāsvara, the sons of the gods of Parīttābha, the sons of the gods of Apramāṇābha, the sons of the gods of Ābhāsaṃvara, the sons of the gods of Śubhakṛtsna, the sons of the gods of Parīttaśubha, the sons of the gods of Apramāṇaśubha, the sons of the gods of Śubhakṛtsna, the sons of the gods of Bṛhatphala, the sons of the gods of Asaṃjñasattva, the sons of the gods of Avṛha, the sons of the gods of Sudṛśa, the sons of the gods of Sudarśana, and the sons of the gods of Akaniṣṭha, knowing that they had all gathered together, and having established all of them as witnesses, he spoke to Indra, the lord of the gods: Kauśika, whether a Bodhisattva, a great being, a monk, a nun, a layman, a laywoman, a son of good family, a daughter of good family, a son of a god, or a daughter of a god, whoever holds, keeps, reads, masters, meditates on, widely explains to others, and properly attends to this Perfection of Wisdom, and whose mind is also inseparable from the mind of all-knowingness, those will not be taken advantage of by the evil Mara and the gods of Mara's retinue. Why is that? Because that
