. The very nature of omniscience is also emptiness. That which is the emptiness of the knowledge of the aspects of the path is not the knowledge of the aspects of the path. Apart from emptiness, there is no knowledge of the aspects of the path. Apart from the knowledge of the aspects of the path, there is no emptiness, for emptiness is also the knowledge of the aspects of the path. The knowledge of the aspects of the path is also emptiness. Sharadvatiputra, endowed with life, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom should be known as skillful in means. Sharadvatiputra, endowed with life, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom has the potential to manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. That Bodhisattva Mahasattva, even though practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not perceive it as practicing. He does not perceive it as not practicing. Even though practicing, he practices, and even though not practicing, he does not practice, he does not make this perception. It is neither practice, nor non-practice, he does not make this perception.

When practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not even fixate on the word "practice." One does not even fixate on the word "non-practice." One does not even fixate on the phrase "practice is practice, non-practice is non-practice." One does not even fixate on the phrase "neither practice nor non-practice." Why is that? Because in this way, he has comprehended all dharmas as being without inherent existence and has not grasped at them. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way, without being timid in mind, without being completely timid, without being fearless, without being unperturbed, without being afraid, then, Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it should be known that this Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has drawn near to the All-Knowingness itself. And that All-Knowingness, because all dharmas are of the nature of non-inherent existence, is non-dual and without duality. This is the Samadhi of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas called the Non-Arising of All Dharmas. It is vast, supreme, definitely immeasurable, and cannot be seized by all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices with that Samadhi will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The Blessed One said: Venerable Subhuti, is it only through practicing with this single Samadhi that a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Or are there other similar Samadhis as well? Subhuti said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, by practicing with other Samadhis as well, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will also quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The Blessed One said: Venerable Subhuti, with what other Samadhis will a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Subhuti said: Venerable
