I thought, "These simple-minded ascetics must have stolen something." Those who spoke ill of the group of six monks, reproached those who held the emblem of the upright, saying that they behaved improperly, and openly accused them of their faults. They said, "Many travelers have been robbed by robbers, but it was not us. We just found some clothes in the rubbish heap." When they said, "These are not clothes from the rubbish heap," they were speechless and remained silent. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, "Monks, it is wrong to mock many travelers. Therefore, monks should not accept clothes robbed by robbers. If monks take clothes robbed by robbers, they will be judged as fallen." Furthermore, if those who have faith say, 'Saints, please take whatever you like!' the monks will hesitate and not accept. The Blessed One instructed, "If they say, 'Please take whatever you like!' then take it, do not hesitate." The story takes place in Rajagriha. The group of six monks went to the cemetery of Sitavana and saw many discarded items of the dead, such as umbrellas, wood, and clothes. One of them said, 'Gava! Gavampati! We have found clothes in the rubbish heap, take them!' Gava said, 'Good! Good! Take them!' Then they took those things. The guardians of the cemetery, those of low caste, came and thought, 'There is nothing left in this cemetery, someone must have stolen the tombs.' 看到后跑过来，他说：“各位圣者，我们兄弟和亲友们都按照国王的命令，也是为了这坟地的衣服。你们为何要尊敬有主人的坟地里的死人用品呢？”他们回答说：“我们拿走了裹尸布。”他说：“各位圣者，如果是裹尸布，那就太好了。”他们无言以对，什么也没说就走了。事情是这样的，众比丘向世尊禀告。世尊开示说：“比丘们，嘲笑恶劣种姓是错误的。因此，比丘们，不要从有主人的坟地里拿走裹尸布。如果比丘们拿走了有主人的坟地的裹尸布，就会构成堕罪。”另外，有信仰的人对他们说：“各位圣者，请随意拿走吧。”比丘们犹豫不决，没有拿。世尊开示说：“如果他们说‘随意拿吧’，就拿走，不要犹豫。”单门第二经的第一颂结束。 《律藏正典》，第四十卷。总而言之，衣服等木棉，以及从寺庙里抢夺的，也是如此。僧团的三件法衣，不要向个人乞讨。佛陀世尊住在舍卫城祇陀林给孤独园。六群比丘与许多车辆一同上路，走到半路时，一辆车的轴断了，商人换了轴，丢弃了断轴就走了。近喜取走了那根车轴，丢在大路的十字路口，说道：“喜悦的近喜，我们是为了把这根轴作为自在天（藏文：དབང་ཕྱུག་，梵文天城体：ईश्वर，梵文罗马拟音：Īśvara，汉语字面意思：自在）的依处而放置的。”挖坑时，其他施主也在那里建造了台子。另一个人也向它祈祷说：“如果我成就了这件事，我就在这里建造房屋，供养一百零八个婆罗门。”

Having seen this, he ran over and said, "Noble ones, we brothers and relatives are acting according to the king's command, and it is also for the sake of this cemetery cloth. Why do you honor the belongings of the dead in a cemetery that has owners?" They replied, "We have taken the shroud." He said, "Noble ones, if it is a shroud, then it is very good." They were speechless and said nothing. This is what happened, and the monks reported it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, "Monks, it is wrong to ridicule bad lineages. Therefore, monks, do not take shrouds from cemeteries that have owners. If monks take shrouds from cemeteries that have owners, it will constitute an offense." Furthermore, faithful people said to them, "Noble ones, take whatever you please." The monks hesitated and did not take it. The Blessed One instructed, "If they say, 'Take whatever you please,' then take it, do not hesitate." The first verse of the Second Chapter of the Solitary Gate Sutra ends. The Vinaya Canon, Volume Forty. In short, clothes and other cotton, as well as what is plundered from temples, are the same. The three Dharma robes of the Sangha should not be begged from individuals. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was dwelling in Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's Park, in Shravasti. The Six Groups set out on the road with many carts, and when they had gone halfway, the axle of one cart broke, and the merchant replaced the axle, discarded the broken axle, and left. Nanda took the axle of the cart and threw it at the crossroads of the main road, saying, "Joyful Nanda, we have placed this axle as a support for the deity Ishvara (藏文：དབང་ཕྱུག་，梵文天城体：ईश्वर，梵文罗马拟音：Īśvara，汉语字面意思：自在)." While digging the pit, other householders also built platforms there. Another person also prayed to it, saying, "If I accomplish this and that, I will build a house here and offer food to one hundred and eight Brahmins."

说“要做供养”之后，那也具有缘起性，因此那也成就了，他如是所作的誓愿全部成办，那变成了外道的神殿，神殿的人也加持了。之后，许多商人和客人进入那条道路，在那里供养了许多的衣服、羊毛和木棉。六群比丘再次返回的时候，看到那神殿非常兴盛，他们说道：欢喜者、近欢喜者，车轴命根自在天，衣服、羊毛和木棉非常多且圆满，要敬奉它啊！他们开始拿取，神殿的人来了，他们说道：诸位圣者，这座神殿是我们的，这工作和洒扫是我们做的，为何拿取和抢夺神的衣服呢？你们没有舍弃不给予而拿取的行为吗？他们说道：你们这些吝啬鬼，这怎么是你们的神殿呢？我们把断裂的车轴命根当作依靠而安放的啊！神殿的人发出了叫喊声，之后，近欢喜者愤怒了，一脚踢过去把它踢倒了。之后，那些傲慢自大的人从高处说道：圣者，这是您或者其他人做的，而且我们是依靠这个生存的，也看着这个，为何您做出非圣者的行为呢？他们不骄傲了，什么也不说就待着了。如此发生之后，众比丘向世尊禀告，世尊开示说：比丘们，嘲笑住在邪见神殿里的人是愚蠢的。因此，比丘们，不应该拿取有神殿主人的衣服等物。比丘们，如果拿取有神殿主人的衣服等物，就会变成堕落。外道神殿的人说：其他有信仰的人随意享用吧！那些比丘生起疑惑而没有拿取。世尊开示说：如果随意做了，就可以拿取，不要对此疑惑。故事的起因是在舍卫城，世尊说要劝勉病人，当一位比丘生病的时候。

Then, many merchants and guests entered that road, and there they offered many clothes, wool, and cotton. When the Six Groups of monks returned again, they saw that the temple was very prosperous, and they said: Joyful one, near joyful one, the lord of the axle's life force, there are very many and perfect clothes, wool, and cotton, let's honor it! They began to take it, and the temple people came and said: Noble ones, this temple is ours, this work and sweeping is done by us, why do you take and plunder the clothes of the gods? Have you not abandoned taking what is not given? They said: You misers, how is this your temple? We have placed the broken axle's life force as a support! The temple people shouted, and then, the near joyful one became angry and kicked it over. Then, those arrogant and haughty people said from above: Noble one, this was done by you or someone else, and we live by relying on this, and also looking at this, why do you do what is not the behavior of a noble one? They were not proud and stayed without saying anything. After this happened, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said: Monks, it is foolish to mock those who live in a heretical temple. Therefore, monks, you should not take the clothes and other things that belong to the temple owner. Monks, if you take the clothes and other things that belong to the temple owner, you will become fallen. The heretical temple people said: Let other faithful people enjoy it as they please! Those monks became doubtful and did not take it. The Blessed One said: If it is done as one pleases, it can be taken, do not doubt it. The origin of the story is in Shravasti, the Blessed One said to encourage the sick person, when a monk became ill.
