Or is it not more than ten days? It should be said that it is more than ten days. Bhikkhu, is it permissible to make a spoiled robe into an untimely robe? Upali, it is not permissible. Bhikkhu, the Blessed One said that the spoiled robe should be kept until the time of offering robes. Bhikkhu, when is the time of offering robes? Upali, it is when entering according to the Dharma, before entering not according to the Dharma, all is not the time. Bhikkhu, if the one who gives the precepts puts down the robe after the time of offering robes, what happens? It becomes an abandonment. Bhikkhu, if a bhikkhuni puts down the spoiled robe after the time of offering robes, what happens? It becomes an abandonment. A misdeed is committed against the siksamana, sramanera, and sramanerika, which should be explained in detail. In short, it should not be and four kinds, and the seven obstacles are also the same, the precepts and the sangha's, space, name, and bhikkhuni. The venerable Upali asked the Blessed One. Upali, yes, if the material of that robe is permissible, but the sewing is not permissible, or the sewing is permissible, but the material is not permissible, or both are not permissible. What is not permissible is: mixed with ewe's wool, cow's wool, sheep's wool, and deer's wool. Similarly, if an unwoven robe is left for more than six days, a misdeed will be committed. Bhikkhu, if a bhikkhu thinks that it has been more than six days and leaves that robe, what happens? It becomes an abandonment.
