Among those who speak of the earth, this is the most praised. Therefore, monks, karma that is entirely black, its ripening is also entirely black. White is entirely white. Mixed is entirely mixed. Therefore, monks, abandon entirely black and mixed karma, and strive for karma that is entirely white. Monks, you should train in this way. The Blessed One spoke thus, and those monks rejoiced and were exceedingly glad at what the Blessed One had said. The Basis of Minor Vinaya Matters. Volume Forty-Three. In brief: Do not ask forgiveness from outside monks. Do not have a solitary barber cut hair. Do not rent out summer dwellings. Also, do not wipe the body with a cloth. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindika. A certain bhikkhuni was teaching a bhikkhu to read. Then, at a later time, she committed an offense, and he rebuked her. She went to the summer dwelling and sat there ashamed. Her preceptress saw her and said, "Young woman, what offense have you committed that you sit there ashamed?" She replied, "Preceptress, if the teacher rebukes me, I do not know what to do." "Child, what else is there to do? The teacher and preceptress only rebuke you in order to maintain the Dharma. Go and ask for forgiveness." She replied, "Very well, I will do so, I will go to ask for forgiveness." She went to the Jeta Grove and was not seen. She searched for him, and after some time, she saw him walking and sitting in the walking place outside the monastery. She prostrated at his feet, but that bhikkhu went away disrespectfully. The children saw this, and they were afflicted by defilements, saying, "Noble lady, we know why you are asking for forgiveness. If he does not forgive you, come back. We will accomplish your purpose." She was ashamed and went away without saying a word. The bhikkhus heard of this and reported it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One considered: "Whoever has become the object of offense, even if a bhikkhuni rebukes him and asks for forgiveness, he goes away without showing any respect. The children

They also always think of unwholesome things, therefore, the Bhikshuni should not ask the Bhikshu for forgiveness outside the monastery, and the Bhikshu should not act disrespectfully towards the Bhikshuni, but should consider and understand before giving instructions. Bhikshus, children always think of unwholesome things, therefore, the Bhikshuni should not ask the angry Bhikshu for forgiveness outside the monastery! Even so, after the Bhikshuni asks the Bhikshu for forgiveness, she should not leave disrespectfully! Did the Bhikshuni ask the Bhikshu outside the monastery? If the Bhikshuni asks the Bhikshu for forgiveness but leaves disrespectfully, then both will be in violation. The origin of the story is in Shravasti. Bhikshus, the barber shaved the hair, and then the young barber did not maintain mindfulness. He saw them and developed attachment. When the Bhikshus heard of this situation, they reported it to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Bhikshus, the mind is fickle, because it does not maintain mindfulness, it will be deceived. Women are mostly very greedy, therefore, the Bhikshunis should not shave their hair alone at the barber's, but should arrange another Bhikshuni next to them, and if that barber develops attachment, then the Bhikshuni next to him should say this: Beautiful one, this Bhikshuni's body is a collection of bones, without decoration, the body is dirty, she is a renunciate, so stop that kind of mind, sentient beings will fall into hell. If the Bhikshuni also develops attachment, also say this: Sister, you have abandoned the affairs of the householder, when you receive the full ordination, think about the promises you made to the two Sanghas! The Blessed One said that desire is a small pleasure, but has many pains and faults. Abandon inappropriate attention and keep the mind of renunciation! If he says that to her, that's good. If he doesn't say that, then the Bhikshuni next to her will also be in violation.
