Therefore, he prophesied this. Monks, therefore, one should respectfully accept and recite the aggregates, elements, realms, places and non-places, and be skilled in dependent origination. Likewise, one should also make correct aspirations. Monks, in this way your accumulation of merit will increase. Monks, you should train in this way. Intermediate summary: The farmer and the potter, the merchant who lives by cloth, the stupa smeared with oil, the prostitute and the big-bellied one, the rich and the small of desire, in the category is the Dharma. The summary verses of the eight defeats: Summary: Impure conduct and stealing, killing and lying, hunting and selling incense, prostitutes and bastards. The Blessed One Buddha was dwelling in Rajagriha, in the Bamboo Grove, the place of the Kalandaka birds. When Utpalavarna was working as a prostitute in the six great cities, a Brahmin developed a strong affection for her, and went there to offer her flowers, fruits, and toothpicks. Then, Utpalavarna said to the Brahmin, "You are of high caste, and I am of low caste, why have you come here?" After saying this, the Brahmin said to Utpalavarna, "I want to have intercourse with you." She said, "If you have karshapanas, then we can meet and have intercourse later." Then, the Brahmin heard that sentence from Utpalavarna, and went to various places for the sake of karshapanas. Later, at another time, Utpalavarna, relying on the virtuous friend, the venerable Mahamoggallana, abandoned the profession of prostitute and attained the state of an Arhat. She was also accustomed to living in dense forests during the day, so Utpalavarna went to live in dense forests during the day. The Brahmin also took the karshapanas and went to villages, cities, suburbs, and around the royal palace, asking and asking until he reached Shravasti. Then that Brahmin

Having gone to where Utpalavarna was, Utpalavarna made an exchange of life with them, saying, 'Hey, take these Karshapanas.' He also thought, and said to the Brahmin, 'Brahmin, I have abandoned the non-dharma.' After saying this, the Brahmin said to Utpalavarna, 'Even if you have abandoned it, I have not abandoned it.' Then, Utpalavarna said to the Brahmin, 'Brahmin, which part of my body are you particularly attached to?' He said, 'The eyes.' She used her miraculous power to place the eyes in the palm of her hand, and said to the Brahmin, 'Brahmin, if you want them, take them.' Then, when the Brahmin saw the eyes, he became very angry, agitated, and fearful, and struck the beggar Utpalavarna on the head with his fist and left. Then, Utpalavarna at that time spoke to the Bhikkhunis. The Bhikkhunis spoke to the Bhikkhus. Then the Bhikkhus reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One taught, 'Bhikkhus, women are weak, cunning, lewd, hypocritical, and easily dominated by desire. Therefore, from now on, Bhikkhunis should not live in monasteries.' When the Blessed One forbade the Bhikkhunis from living in monasteries, they lived in streets, crossroads, and intersections, and were also harassed by cunning people. After some time, when they were living there, in Shravasti there was a lay devotee named Saga, the son of a hunter, who was faithful, virtuous, and kept the five precepts. He saw the Bhikkhunis with no place to stay, so he sought out dwellings for them and gave them, saying, 'Noble mothers, please stay here as you wish.' And they stayed there. At that time, in the Bhikkhunis' summer retreat, there was a Bhikkhuni named Sbom Gamo, who was well-shaped, beautiful, charming, and full of desire, and pleasing to men. Then, at another time, the Bhikkhunis appointed a steward, and at the time of the Bhikkhuni Sangha's morning, they put on their skirts, robes, and bowls.

Carrying the alms bowl, they entered Shravasti for alms. Then, the bhikkhuni Spomgamo returned from there because she was in love with the son of a hunter who lived there. She signaled to him, but he did not want it. She said this: What is desired will become what is not desired. Then, the hunter's son said to Spomgamo: Sister, you have become a renunciate, and I am a layperson. Moreover, you have also obtained the status of the king's consort. If the king were to know that I had committed such a misdeed, he would make me suffer tonight. Then, Spomgamo said to the hunter's son: Son of a householder, will the king's great mind follow us? If we want it and you also want it, who will accuse me? Although she said this, the hunter's son did not agree. Then, the bhikkhuni Spomgamo thought, should I die? Or should I just have contact with my limbs? After thinking about it, she said to the hunter's son: If the son of a householder does not want it, then just touch the limbs. After saying that, she took him into her lap, and from above the knees and below the eyes, she made contact. That act was also noticed by the bhikkhuni Dege Kosma. The bhikkhuni sangha also went to Shravasti for alms, and after doing the food business, they abandoned the afternoon alms and returned to the place where the hunter's son was. Then, the bhikkhuni Dege Kosma said to them: Sisters, if the hunter's son thinks that he has given us a secluded place for the sake of the Dharma, I think he treats those bald-headed women like queens. Sisters, those of you who need discipline, go somewhere else. They asked her: What is that? She said to the bhikkhunis
