It transforms into this: those seven precious things will become like this, just like this: the Wheel Jewel, the Elephant Jewel, the Horse Jewel, the Mani Jewel, the Woman Jewel, the Householder Jewel, and the Military General Jewel, these are the seven. This son is brave, steadfast, possesses excellent limbs and features, and is able to completely destroy the enemy forces, possessing all perfections. He will rule the entire great earth up to the ocean with Dharma and justice, without harm or violation, without punishment or weapons, and will establish it in peace with harmony and fairness. If he shaves his hair and beard, puts on the robes, and goes forth from home to homelessness with unwavering faith, then he will become a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, renowned in the world. Thus it was prophesied, thus it was heard. Having heard this, those kings of the realm under the sun thought to themselves: Now, if we attend to the youth, he will bear fruit in due season, so whom should we attend to? We should attend to the youth. They thought, we should attend to King Śuddhodana, for by attending to him, we will be attending to the youth. So, they began to attend to King Śuddhodana, sending messengers and treasure chests with reverence at the appropriate times. Then, King Śuddhodana thought to himself: When my son was born, all purposes and ends of deeds were accomplished, therefore, this youth should be named "All Purposes Accomplished." So, he named his son "All Purposes Accomplished." When the Blessed One was born as a great Bodhisattva, and saw the old, the sick, and the dead, and his heart was moved, and he went into the forest, then King Śuddhodana and Śākya Suliya sent two hundred and fifty and two hundred and fifty men to attend to him, and each day they would send to that youth one sesame seed, or one grain of fine rice, or one lentil, or one bean, or one cypress seed.

Furthermore, it is said that the Blessed One subsisted on a single grain of kidney bean, carrying the teachings of the Bodhisattva. When the kings of the realm under the sun heard that the youth Sarvarthasiddha, having seen an old man, a sick man, and a dead man, became disgusted and renounced the world, they thought to themselves: Why did that youth, upon whom we rely as King Śuddhodana, renounce the world? Among them, except for King Prasenajit of Kosala, all others ceased to pay homage, send messengers, and offer tribute. At that time, King Prasenajit of Kosala had a chief minister named Guptaka, and King Śuddhodana had a jester's son named Citraka. Whenever King Prasenajit of Kosala sent a messenger to King Śuddhodana, the chief minister Guptaka would be sent. He would manage the king's affairs and activities, and then enter Citraka's house. Whenever King Śuddhodana sent a messenger to King Prasenajit of Kosala, the jester's son Citraka would be sent. He would also manage the king's affairs and activities, and then enter the chief minister Guptaka's house. Guptaka had a wife named Guptamā, who was beautiful, pleasing to the eye, lovely, and pleasing to men. Citraka became intimate with Guptamā. When Guptaka learned that Citraka had become intimate with Guptamā, he thought: This one should be killed. But then he thought: If this one is killed, there will be a great conflict between the two countries. Why should I kill a Brahmin for the sake of a woman's body? So he let it go. Then Citraka thought: I have been deceived by Guptaka. Frightened, he left his house and lived elsewhere. Guptaka said: Citraka, why have you left your own house and live elsewhere? Come back! This is your own house, live as you please! Then Citraka thought: In reality, he is trying to

Having recognized this, he stayed there. 《Vinayavibhaṅga》, Volume Twenty-seven. Then, at another time, the chief minister Sbe-da's time had come, and King Prasenajit of Kosala, because he had no son, had placed all the wealth in his own storehouse and granary. Sbe-da wrote a letter to Charga saying, "When my family is still alive, living and residing, you always come, but now the time has come. King Prasenajit of Kosala, also because he has no son, has placed all the wealth in his own storehouse and granary. Now, won't you even send a word of greeting?" After that, Charga heard the content of the letter and thought, "If I go there, others will say that Charga is infatuated with women and went there for the sake of women." So he thought, "I should devise a method." So he handled the king's affairs two or three times, did the king's work, and then went to where King Śuddhodana was, and after arriving, he said these words to King Śuddhodana: "O Deva, when Prince Siddhartha was born, all the kings of Jambudvipa submitted, and all offered messengers and treasure chests. When Prince Siddhartha saw the old, the sick, and the dead, and his heart was displeased, and he went to the forest, then among those kings of Jambudvipa, except for King Prasenajit of Kosala, all the others stopped the custom of offering messengers and treasure chests. O Deva, you have always bestowed and sent messengers and treasure chests to King Prasenajit of Kosala, and have formed a connection in that way. Now, if you abandon it, it will cause great harm in the future, because we have a connection with them, so it is appropriate to form a connection with him." Charga said, "If that is the case, then you yourself go as a messenger." King Śuddhodana said, "As the Deva commands." After that, Charga took the treasure chests and went to where Shravasti was, and finally arrived in Shravasti. After that, Charga thought, "One should not rely on what is not worth relying on, one should rely on what is worth relying on, so first one should go to see the ministers."
