清净您所依，我今日获得无瑕清净之眼，获得寂静圣者之果位，已然超越痛苦之海。众生中天人非天人所敬奉，远离生老病死者，极难得见空性之有者，今日得见能仁您实乃有果报。之后，以饰品悬挂闪耀，顶礼双足生欢喜，降伏敌者从右向左绕，前往天界显现于空中。之后，昔日如大象之天子，如商人获利，如农夫丰收，如勇士战场得胜，如病人从一切疾病中解脱般，以何种富饶来到世尊面前，便以同样的富饶返回自己的住所。众比丘于夜晚之上半夜与下半夜，不睡眠而精进修习瑜伽，彼等得见世尊面前广大之光明。见后心生疑惑，请问世尊：世尊，何故？昨夜世尊是为了看顾三千世界之主梵天，或是诸天之主帝释天，或是四位护世尊者前来？世尊开示道：比丘们，前来观看我者，既非三千世界之主梵天，亦非诸天之主帝释天，亦非四位护世尊者。虽然如此，比丘们，你们是否见到那头名叫护财的大象，如此凶猛，如此暴戾，为了杀死如来而压迫他人？尊者，见到了。我调伏了它，使它对我生起极大的信心，死后转生到四大天王之列的天人之中。它昨夜来到我的面前，我为它宣说了佛法，使它证悟了真理，然后返回了自己的住所。众比丘心生疑惑，向断除一切疑惑之佛陀世尊请教道：尊者，护财造作了何种业，以该业之果报而转生为旁生？
