After some time, Queen Moonlight, tired from playing, fell into a deep sleep on the great bed, and in the middle of the night, she dreamed of a deer king of supreme beauty sitting on a lion throne, preaching the Dharma to many of the king's retinue. Having seen it, as if it had become manifest, she dreamed in her dream, and feeling very happy, she quickly got up from the bed and spoke to the king. Having heard it, the king was greatly amazed at the special nature of her true dream. He thought, how could a being born in a place of no desire sit on a lion throne and preach the Dharma to many of the king's retinue? Then, Queen Moonlight, with joyful, pleasant, and melodious words, made the king happy for a moment and said: Please make an effort to bring that deer here. Then, the king commanded the ministers: Wise ones, bring all the hunters who live in my country before me. The ministers commanded the king's people in various places: The divine decree says: Bring all the hunters who live in my country here. Send all the hunters here. They sent all the hunters living in the various places to the king's presence, and the ministers presented them to the king, and the king said: Wise ones, there is a deer king of supreme beauty in my country. I have heard that you should catch it with a soft and loose snare and present it to me. They said: O God, we live by this, and we have traveled in the land of the gods until this time, but we have never heard of such a deer king before, let alone seen one. The oracle says this: In my land, there is a deer king who is extremely ugly in appearance, if anyone can tell me about him, I will treat him with great respect and reward him with five of the best towns. Then, the man who saw the deer thought this: Should I continue to serve the king, or should I take revenge? Because of the individual dependence on desires, there is nothing that is not done as an evil deed, so the fire of intense hatred that arose from his desires burned his heart, and he thought: The matter of revenge should be put aside for now! The time to avenge the enemy has come! Will I ever get such an opportunity again? Let me take revenge on him for now! 为了观看，他躲在那片茂密森林的树丛中，看到一大群人正朝着茂密的森林走来，于是他急忙跑到鹿王面前说道：鹿王啊，我以前就说过，人们是不会记得别人对他们的恩惠，不会报答恩情，也不会感恩的。你看，那个人带着许多祭品来了。众鹿听到这个声音，都吓得四处逃散。菩萨鹿王心想：如果我不保护这些鹿，它们今天就会被宰杀。与其抛弃众生，不如牺牲自己的生命。于是，他走向国王。然后，那个没有慈悲心，不顾来世的人，用贪婪的目光盯着鹿，用双手指向那只最好的鹿，说道：神啊，鹿王就是这只。由于极其猛烈的业力已经圆满，不等待成熟的时机，就在他说完话的那一刻，那个人的双手都掉到了地上。然后，国王感到懊悔，问那个人：这是怎么回事？那个人被痛苦的感受所折磨，发出悲鸣，用诗句说道：杀害大王而掠夺财物，那不是强盗；大王啊，忘恩负义的人，才是真正的强盗。国王问道：你说的这些话是什么意思？那个人把事情的经过全部详细地告诉了国王。然后，国王用诗句斥责那个忘恩负义的人，再次说道：为什么你没有沉入地狱？为什么你的舌头没有裂成一百块？你如何隐藏你的身体？为什么金刚雨、长矛和巨锤没有击打你？然后，国王知道了菩萨的伟大力量，对大臣们说：有智慧的人啊，这位伟大的鹿王是值得尊敬的，今天就让人打扫城市和道路。他们清除了城市里的石头、瓦片和碎石，并用檀香水洒扫，非常香。

In order to watch, he hid in the bushes of that dense forest, and seeing a large crowd of people heading towards the dense forest, he hurried to the deer king and said: O deer king, I have said before that people will not remember the favors done to them, will not repay kindness, and will not be grateful. Look, that person is coming with many offerings. Hearing this sound, all the deer were frightened and scattered. The Bodhisattva deer king thought: If I do not protect these deer, they will be slaughtered today. Rather than abandoning sentient beings, it is better to sacrifice my own life. So, he went to the king. Then, that person without compassion, disregarding the afterlife, stared at the deer with greedy eyes, pointed to the best deer with both hands, and said: O god, this is the deer king. Because the extremely violent karma has been completed, not waiting for the time of ripening, at the very moment he finished speaking, both of that person's hands fell to the ground. Then, the king felt remorse and asked that person: What happened? That person, tormented by the feeling of pain, cried out and said in verse: Killing a great king and plundering wealth, that is not a robber; O great king, the ungrateful person is the real robber. The king asked: What is the meaning of what you said? That person told the king all the details of what happened. Then, the king rebuked that ungrateful person in verse, saying again: Why didn't you sink into hell? Why didn't your tongue split into a hundred pieces? How did you hide your body? Why didn't the vajra rain, spears, and great hammers strike you? Then, the king knew the great power of the Bodhisattva and said to the ministers: Wise ones, this great deer king is worthy of respect, let people clean the city and roads today. They cleared the stones, tiles, and gravel from the city, and sprinkled it with sandalwood water, which was very fragrant.
