Those who had raised their hands lowered them, making a 'sogo' sound, and then drew their legs in and sat in the lotus position in front. Those who had only one leg lowered their leg and sat in the lotus position in front. Those who tormented themselves with fire extinguished their fires, made a 'sego' sound, and then sat in the lotus position in front. Then, those ascetics said to the one who imparted the teachings, 'Khenpo, this monkey is hindering our asceticism.' They spoke to him about it in detail. He said, 'Knowledgeable ones, those monkeys are mindful. Without a doubt, it has seen the conduct of some ascetics, so you too should sit in the lotus position for Dharma.' As they sat in the lotus position, their previous roots of virtue manifested, and through the wisdom without a khenpo or teacher, they generated Dharma in accordance with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, thereby realizing self-enlightenment. Then, they developed faith arising from the Dharma towards that monkey. They took fresh crops and fresh fruits from the fields, and whatever new gains there were, they gave to it first and then enjoyed it themselves. After some time, that monkey passed away. Then, those self-enlightened ones took fragrant woods from various regions and directions, piled them all up, and burned them. Monks, what do you think? The monkey who lived together with the self-enlightened ones was none other than this Nyeba (ཉེ་སྦས་). At that time, it also participated for the benefit of many beings. Now, I also prophesy that it will benefit many beings and have compassion. Then, when the Blessed One traveled from Dpa'de (དཔའ་སྡེ་) to Chomburlak (བཅོམ་བརླག་), he arrived at Chomburlak. The Brahmins of Chomburlak said, 'The Shramana Gautama has arrived at Chomburlak, and he greatly desires the four castes to be completely pure, therefore he teaches, establishes, sets forth, distinguishes, and differentiates.'

,clarifies, shows, correctly and completely shows, after hearing that, if he is in Jomblag, it will become an obstacle to our acquisition and respect, because that is disrespectful, so it is said that they are afraid. If someone disrespects him, then he will not be in Jomblag. If people of low caste disrespect him, it will not be surprising, if some important people disrespect him, that would be good, who among us is an important person? At that time, in Jomblag, there was a Brahmin named Sngor-gyur, who was proficient in the Vedas and the branches of the Vedas, able to clarify his own words, able to defeat the opponents of other religions, and his words followed the truth. After that, the Brahmins of Jomblag gathered together and went to the residence of Sngor-gyur, saying: "Khenpo, here is a Shramana Gautama, it is said that he is very proficient in the purity of the four castes, until he correctly and completely shows." It is said that they are afraid of disrespect. If someone disrespects him, then he will not be in Jomblag. If people of low caste disrespect him, it will not be surprising, if some important people disrespect him, that would be good, who among us is an important person, aren't you Khenpo? Please rebuke him with the whip of disrespectful words." Sngor-gyur said: "Wise people, my tongue follows the truth, if it should be rebuked, I will rebuke, if it should be praised, I will praise." After that, the Brahmin Sngor-gyur was surrounded by the elderly Brahmins living in Jomblag and went to where the Blessed One was. The Brahmin Sngor-gyur saw from afar that the body of the Blessed One was adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great person, beautified by the eighty minor marks, and radiating light.

What adorns him? His radiance surpasses a thousand suns. Like a moving mountain of jewels, he dwells under a tree with a demeanor of serenity and peace. Having seen him, I was filled with wonder, and with wide eyes, I gazed and began to praise him: With body, speech, and all my senses, and with my mind focused and attentive, I shall speak of a fraction of your virtues, O essence of virtue, vast ocean of merit. You are the supreme among speakers, with flawless senses perfectly composed. All zealous opponents are unable to penetrate and grasp the ultimate meaning. Your conduct is utterly perfect; through the practice of asceticism, your asceticism is utterly complete. O mighty one, your inexhaustible samadhi is like the son without craving and the king of mountains. O supreme among men, you have no harm. You have no discouragement, no shrinking, no weariness. You have no intolerance towards any beings. You are without attachment; how could you have strife? You are without haste and without excessive despondency. You have no sorrow, nor does joy arise. Like the lord of mountains, Mount Meru, so steadfast, your mind is always virtuous. O Sage, supreme among beings, from all realms, your vast wisdom is without obscuration. You enter into various realms of existence without hindrance, diminution, or exhaustion. O Sage, you have no hesitation in anything. You have no doubt or uncertainty. You yourself, having understood what is supreme and not supreme through wisdom, know all. Seeing you brings joy, seeing you is good. Because seeing you is good, seeing you pleases the wise. Because you are equal in joy and displeasure, you always act with a joyful demeanor. You are endowed with eloquent confidence, with a smiling face, mindful and without shrinking. Because the wise explain what they desire so well, your fame arises in the three worlds. Humans, gods, demigods, yakshas, rakshasas, and many wise beings in this world come again and again to the Sage, and repeatedly tell you of what they cannot bear. You delight them with your sweet words. Humans, gods, demigods, yakshas, and rakshasas, the great Sage, dispel their doubts. At your feet.
