This was spoken and rejoiced by the Tathagatas, as many as the sands of sixty-two trillion Ganges Rivers. This Dharani mantra, just by seeing and hearing it, will liberate one from all fears of sins, obscurations, hell beings, animals, and evil destinies. All past karmic obscurations will also be completely destroyed, and all hells of sentient beings will also be destroyed. For example, fire burns the roots of a tree, and the wind quickly blows away the ashes. Similarly, it burns all the sins accumulated in previous lives. For example, when rain falls, the water flowing down from the mountain washes away all the dust and dirt on the ground. Similarly, seeing and hearing this Dharani will eliminate sins. For example, fire refines gold, making it soft and easy to cut. Similarly, just by reciting it, the body can be purified without any doubt. For example, when the sun rises, its rays shine everywhere. Similarly, whoever holds this Dharani, his body will also become magnificent. For example, a dried fish struggles on the ground, approaching death due to lack of water. If someone puts it back into the water, it can survive there and reach its peak. Similarly, just by remembering it, people's lives can be prolonged. Write down this dharani mantra of the all-pervading, perfectly rounded light, the immaculate manifestation of the crown, the essence and samaya of all the Tathagatas, and place it inside a stupa. Whether it is a new stupa or an old one that has been repaired, place it inside. Also offer incense and perfume, and remember the vidya mantra of the dharani one hundred and eight times, and recite it one hundred and eight times. Three times during the day and three times during the night, remember it. Then, when the sun rises, face east, make an incense mandala, and scatter flowers in the direction of the sun. Fumigate with agarwood and turushka incense, prostrate to all the Tathagatas, and recite it one hundred and eight times. If one builds one hundred and eight stupas, writes down the essence of this vidya mantra, places it inside the stupas, and places it on top of the mandala, it will be as if the bodies and relics of the Tathagatas, as numerous as the sand grains of ninety-nine kotis of nayutas of hundreds of thousands of Ganges rivers, are placed inside each stupa.
