I take refuge in all the deities of the Gyalwa Gyatso (Victorious Ocean) mandala, I take refuge in the assembly of heroes, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians. Vajra Master, please consider. Just as the protectors of the three times, for the sake of sentient beings, generate the supreme Bodhicitta, so do I generate the mind. Just as the protectors of the three times, through the path of merit and wisdom, the path of enlightenment, proceed by familiarizing themselves with skillful means and wisdom, so do I proceed on the path. Just as the protectors of the three times, having become enlightened in omniscience, benefit sentient beings as vast as space, so do I act for their benefit. May those who have not crossed over be crossed over, may those who have not been liberated be liberated, may those who have not breathed be given breath, may sentient beings transcend suffering, and may all attain Buddhahood. May all sentient beings, as vast as the sky, possess happiness and be free from suffering, and for the sake of the state of Avalokiteśvara, may we meditate on the profound two stages. Body and mind purified, and the protection circle: Instantly transform oneself into the Bhagavan, the Lord of the World, Avalokiteśvara, with a red body, one face, and two hands. The right hand holds a lotus, the left hand holds a rosary, adorned with silk and various precious ornaments.
