Therefore, although it is said that the nature of mind is emptiness, its essence is luminosity, and its aspect is uninterrupted, from the explanation of Svabhava and the general aspects of the teachings, the nature of mind is emptiness, its essence is luminosity, and its aspect is uninterrupted, only the names are not the same; the nature of mind, empty and clear, is given the name of awareness; the aspect of mind, which is afflictions, conceptual thoughts, and various kinds of things, is given the name of mind; the nature of mind, which is emptiness, is given the name of abiding; scattering in various ways is called scattering; that self-awareness and self-luminosity is given the name of awareness, these words are different, but the meaning is the same. In general, the Dharma considers the Alaya to be the Dharmakaya, but it is not that the temporarily defiled is considered to be the Dharmakaya, but that the nature of the Alaya, which is originally pure, and has never been tainted by defilements, is considered to be the Dharmakaya, so although there is a great difference in words, the meaning is the same. However, the Dzogchenpas mainly focus on the base of original purity, its nature and function; the Shije Pas mainly focus on the meeting of awareness; the Mahamudra Pas mainly focus on the path of union of Shamatha and Vipassana, the main aspect of the meaning, the view is beyond expression, so no matter how it is explained, the actual situation cannot be expressed by anyone. In this regard, due to the difference of individuals, for those of sudden realization, relying on Dzogchen is more effective; for those of gradual realization, relying on it will become a dry view, so it is more beneficial to guide gradually like Mahamudra. In the systems of the Orba Pas and others, the co-emergent joy is explained as the meaning of Mahamudra, but the system of Je Drakpa Chenpo believes that it transcends the four joys, surpasses luminosity, and is not touched by the three great ones. Although Nagarjuna believes that union is the ultimate view, he believes that the arising of the union of the five stages, as well as the non-meditation of the Mahamudra Pas, and the appearance of the exhaustion of the Dharmata of Dzogchen, or the experience of spontaneous accomplishment, all become the same meaning, the eighty-four thousand Dharma doors of the Buddha, all tend to and flow into this emptiness. Similarly, considering mind as the result also means that the nature of mind originally abides in the Dharmakaya, and does not consider the defiled mind as the result. The Dzogchen Pas say that the Buddha is not born from the mind, and the result is not born from the cause, which also refers to mind itself and mind.

Separately speaking, mind-essence and awareness are the Dharmakaya. It is believed that mind is a sudden illusion, therefore, the suddenly arising defilement is called mind. The essence of mind is free from defilement, and it is named awareness and mind-essence. Apart from the rules of naming, although there are great differences in words, there are no differences in meaning. Some say that the tantric texts of the New Schools do not mention the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities in the bardo, as well as the appearance of the three: sound, light, and rays. However, the Kadampa Compendium states that countless mandalas of peaceful and wrathful deities will appear, so the views of the New and Old Schools are consistent, only differing in the clarity of the detailed explanation. There are countless quotations of these, but here only a brief summary is made to facilitate understanding of their meaning. Therefore, if all the eighty-four thousand gates of Dharma are summarized, they are the Nine Vehicles. Moreover, because the lower vehicles are the stepping stones to the higher vehicles, everything is not contradictory, and everything is completely contained here without omission, therefore it is complete. Above this, there is no other vehicle, therefore it is called the Great Vehicle. It introduces the Buddha, who is inherently present in oneself, in a profound way, and hands it over to you, just as a merchant hands over the jewels of the deceased to him. This profound oral transmission teaching, it is very important to keep the vows, so Samaya. (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: समय, Sanskrit Romanization: samaya, meaning: vow). Because there are the seals of body, speech, and mind, so seal, seal, seal. (Tibetan: རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, meaning: seal, seal, seal). Because it is kept secret from those who are not vessels, so Khatam Guhya. (Tibetan: ཁ་ཐཾ་གུ་ཧྱ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, meaning: secret). This is the sign of the sky treasure and mind treasure, with the seal script of the treasure revealer. Therefore, since you have obtained the great teaching well, please recite this offering mandala ritual. Mount Meru, the supreme mountain king, the four continents and eight subcontinents, adorned with the sun and moon. I offer to the Guru Amitayus, please hold me with compassion without interruption. Three times. Then, perform the tsokhor, offer to the Dharma protectors, offer auspiciousness, dedication, and aspiration prayers. Emaho! This brand new Great Perfection oral transmission teaching, Padmasambhava descended with compassion in the degenerate age. Because the incarnate lama repeatedly urged, I, Raga Asya, wrote the commentary. It was completed on the sixth day of the waxing moon in the month at the beginning of the Golden Monkey year. To please the wise, I quoted many scriptures. To make it understandable for the foolish, I reduced the stages of visualization. To explain it in public, I made Trekchö a common Dharma. Because the visualization of the concise teaching is sufficient, I shortened the Dharma. To increase the blessings, I arranged the sutras, tantras, and instructions. To benefit future followers, I hid
