From the womb, one will attain the immortal nectar. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. In the Sutra of the Wisdom of the Noble Victorious One, it is said: Sons of good family, those who desire merit should make offerings to the Thus-Gone One. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. Those who desire all qualities should make offerings to the Three Jewels. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. Therefore, if one is wealthy, one should perform both the generation mandala and the offering mandala. When generating the mandala, generate the deity of the offering place; when offering the mandala, generate the offerings and actually offer them. Among them, a mandala made of gold, silver, and other precious materials has great merit. If one cannot find it, it is said that earth and wood, etc., are also acceptable. If one does not actually have a complete mandala, one should generate the generation mandala in the sky, or it is also acceptable to arrange the offering mandala on one's fingers. It is also sufficient to contemplate both with the mind. In the root text of the mandala of the great accomplished Kampa, it is said: There are two ways to gather the mandala: thinking with the mind and actually doing it. Offering with the mind is with the mind; actually doing it, offer with the nine perfect limbs, cause, condition, preliminary, boundary, and measure, shape, color, blessing adornment. (Tibetan) Thus it is said, therefore, if actually offering, one must do well with the measure and color, etc., like that. Here, the main thing is to be without elaboration, and because it is difficult to find mandalas in the market, etc., it is the method of offering with the mind. The benefits are also mentioned in that text: The merit of offering like that is that one will perfectly possess the ten perfections, purify the two obscurations, perfect the two accumulations, and thereby the samadhi mandala will become clear, and one will see the nature mandala. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. The fault of not offering the mandala is that one will not obtain stability in the completion stage, and if one receives and practices profound secret mantras without offering the mandala, one will also incur the punishment of the dakinis. In that very text, it is said: The fault of not doing like that is that one will not obtain stability in completion, if one places the mandala, the dakinis will kill, therefore one should be diligent and respectful. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. Among them, offering to the actual dwelling place of offering, and offering by mentally visualizing what is not actually dwelling, the two have equal merit. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it is said: To the Buddhas, clothes, etc., offer either manifestly or non-manifestly. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. If one does not have actual offerings, one should emanate them with the mind, and all that is possessed or unpossessed in the world

By taking and offering with the mind, one obtains great merit. As it says in the *Noble Jewel Cloud Sutra*: 'Son of lineage, whatever bodhisattvas there are, whether in the form of flowers or in the form of fruits, those that I do not possess and have not fully grasped, offer them to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas three times a day and three times a night.' And it says: 'Whatever incense trees, or fragrant trees, or wish-fulfilling trees, or flower trees, or fruit trees, those that I do not possess and have not fully grasped, also offer them to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas three times a day and three times a night.' And as it says in the *King of the Three Samaya Vows*: 'The jewel mountains that arise from the land, and the jewel mountains that arise from the water, and the jewels that arise from the land, etc., existing in the ten directions, those that I do not possess and have not fully grasped, I offer them.' And as it says in the *Bodhicharyavatara*: 'Fragrances, etc., in the world of gods, and incense and wish-fulfilling trees, jewel trees and uncultivated, various kinds of crops, and other ornaments worthy of offering, lakes and ponds adorned with lotuses, swans with very sweet and pleasing sounds, the vastness of the sky reaching to the end of space, all those unowned things, taking them with the mind, I offer to the supreme offspring of the Conqueror, together with their sons. I pray that the holy objects of veneration, the great compassionate ones, will lovingly consider me and accept these offerings of mine. I am poor, without merit, and greatly destitute; I have no other wealth to offer. Therefore, I pray that the protectors who think of the welfare of others will, for my sake, accept them by their own power.' As it is said, by visualizing and offering with the mind, one obtains great merit. Therefore, here, one offers by mentally creating a mandala, and one offers by mentally taking the wealth of gods and humans of the four continents. Furthermore, as it says in the Vajra Verse: 'In the sky in front of oneself, to Kuntuzangpo (藏文:ཀུན་བཟང་།,梵文天城体:समन्तभद्र,梵文罗马拟音:Samantabhadra,汉语字面意思:普贤), surrounded by immeasurable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, gathering all the virtues of the four continents, offer the mandala.' And as it says in its commentary, spoken directly by the Great Compassionate One: 'In the sky directly in front of oneself, to the glorious Kuntuzangpo (藏文:ཀུན་བཟང་།,梵文天城体:समन्तभद्र,梵文罗马拟音:Samantabhadra,汉语字面意思:普贤), surrounded by immeasurable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.'
