Even if you meditate on being surrounded by the assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, in this Dharma, you meditate on Amitabha Buddha. There are many different versions of the generation of Bodhicitta recitation. Those who remember can recite according to their own texts. If you don't remember, don't create new ones. This one sentence is enough. Visualization is very important. The content of the visualization is: In the space in front, on a precious throne and a lotus moon disc, inseparable from the root guru, the teacher Dharmakaya Amitabha. The body is red in color, the head has a crown, the feet have wheels, etc., adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks. Wearing the three Dharma robes, he sits in the vajra posture, with his hands in the meditation mudra, holding a bowl filled with nectar. To his right is the white Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, and to his left is the blue Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta. Both have the attire of Bodhisattvas. If simplified, these three are enough. Once the visualization is clear, visualize the Five Buddha Families as in the refuge. In front of them, with sincere devotion, now, in order to liberate these parent sentient beings who are drowning in the ocean of suffering from suffering, I will quickly attain perfect Buddhahood. Think like this from the depths of your heart. Reciting the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha many times, the Garland of Merit says that the Bodhisattva vows will arise. Because that verse is difficult for many to understand, Atisha's: I take refuge in the Guru, Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. For the benefit of beings, I generate the mind of enlightenment. Recite this about a hundred times. Finally, the refuge field in the sky dissolves into light and merges into oneself. Visualize yourself as Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara, white in color, with one face and four arms, according to the ritual. Then, exhale, merging all your happiness and roots of virtue completely into all sentient beings, visualizing that all sentient beings have perfect happiness, and possess the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, the cause of happiness. May all sentient beings have happiness and the cause of happiness. Saying this is cultivating loving-kindness. When inhaling, all the suffering and defilements of all sentient beings

All sufferings dissolve peacefully into oneself, like adding fuel to a fire, the radiance of one's own great compassion becomes even more intense than before. Meditate on all sentient beings being free from the sufferings of the six realms and all the causes of suffering, all sins and obscurations, and recite: May all sentient beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering! This is the practice of compassion. To make it easy to arise, first meditate on one's own mother, then meditate on one's friends, then meditate on those who share one's faith and thoughts, then meditate on all beings, without distinction between enemies and friends. If tears flow due to love and compassion, that is great love and great compassion. If one treats all beings equally, without distinction between enemies and friends and without partiality, that is immeasurable love and immeasurable compassion. Each time one practices the object of giving and receiving, one can practice a hundred times, or the equivalent of one's age, or twenty-one times. Then, observing the mind of the practitioner, all the merit and virtue given outwards, and all the sins and obscurations taken inwards, all of that is mind. The mind is unborn from the very beginning, like the sky, is the essence of emptiness, and is originally clear and luminous. As stated in the Sutra of Great Arising of Mind: "O Protector of Light, like the sky, it is without characteristics, and is originally clear and luminous, completely pure, this is called the arising of the mind of enlightenment." And as stated in the Extensive Ritual of Arising of Mind: "Free from all things, completely abandoning the five aggregates, the eighteen elements, the twelve sense bases, and all that is grasped and that grasps, realizing the equality of selflessness of phenomena, one's own mind is unborn from the very beginning, is the mind of enlightenment of the essence of emptiness, I generate this mind." Therefore, those of you who have experience in practice, meditate on the object of giving and receiving in a state of non-distraction. Love is the samadhi of innate great love, and compassion is the essence of emptiness and compassion, there is no deeper Dharma than this in the Sutra system. Newcomers should also, after practicing giving and receiving for a long time, observe the mind of the practitioner and abide in it. If there is karmic connection, good realization may arise from this time. When practicing giving and receiving, it is not necessary to visualize oneself as a deity, because newcomers
