Dog Ser. Surrounded by a million jewel dakinis. When walking three steps from the southwest, the body is small and the complexion is red. Surrounded by a million lotus dakinis. When walking three steps from the northeast, the body is small and the complexion is green. Surrounded by a million karma dakinis. When walking three steps from the center, the body is small and the complexion is black. Surrounded by a million wisdom dakinis. From the vast expanse of the dharmata sky, clouds of compassion gather densely, and the rain of blessings falls softly. Please, Mother, reside here as the ornament on our crowns. Having resided there, please bless us, Mother. Please bless us, O sole Mother. Please dispel obstacles, O sole Mother. Please generate realization, O sole Mother. Please bestow supreme empowerment, O sole Mother. Please embrace us with compassion, O sole Mother. PHAṬ PHAṬ. (Tibetan) ཕཊ་ (Sanskrit Devanagari) phaṭ (Sanskrit Romanization) (Literal Chinese meaning: pēi!) Phat! On the crown of my head and the head of the one to be protected, the five families of Machik dissolve into light and merge into me and the one to be protected, so that body and body merge inseparably, speech and speech merge inseparably, mind and mind merge inseparably. I and the one to be protected are inseparable from Machik, and we go by the path of the dharmakaya. PHAṬ PHAṬ PHAṬ. (Tibetan) ཕཊ་ (Sanskrit Devanagari) phaṭ (Sanskrit Romanization) (Literal Chinese meaning: pēi!) Phat! Phat! Phat! Thus, Remain for a long time in the state of emptiness free from elaboration. Again, one's own self arises as a red Ṭa, continuously transforming into an illusory body, and enters into activity. If you want to be very extensive, then explain the abbreviated root commentary extensively and recite it. If you want to abbreviate, then follow the ritual here and do not add the Nine-Headed Wrathful One. If you want to abbreviate, then the Nine-Headed Wrathful One is not necessary. If you want to abbreviate, then transform the yellow offerings and meditate with your mind, and recite the texts. The blessing of nectar is only necessary for the first time, not continuously. Any one of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, or wrathful is sufficient. If you abbreviate further, then omit the fulfillment ritual. The torma offering and the million recitations are done separately, and the Chöd torma offering is sufficient with just the six classes of dakinis. If you abbreviate further, then make the torma dedication and the mantra dedication. This can be done once or every day. If you want signs to appear in numbers such as five, seven, or nine, then the Chöd gathering is done three or two times. The body offering is done three or two times, in four or six sessions. In between sessions, whatever is needed, such as taming madness, is done as an intermediate visualization. Ema, Great Mother, emanation of mind, Machik!

This Chöd gathering, among the three systems of Sutra, Tantra, and Union, has become excessively lax due to its widespread proliferation, as varied as the stars in the sky. Nowadays, most Chöd practitioners utter whatever they find, and even the author's name is often missing, making it difficult to distinguish between the pure and the erroneous. Starting from Tö Smön Gangpa Muksang Lhündrup, the Chöd gathering lineage was passed down to the great Siddha Karmapa. Gnyan Repa transmitted it to the Self-Arisen One. However, since it mainly emphasizes Tantra, the lineage did not spread widely; observe the interdependence. After hearing the Sutra lineage from Namtsoba, and the Union of Sutra and Tantra lineage, Rangjung Gyalwa composed the clear and lucid Chöd gathering. However, although it is widely spread and the practice is prevalent, some add many words to expand it, while others subtract from the Kagyu Tsok to simplify it. Although such differences are widespread, this ritual includes a detailed explanation of the visualization sequence, written by Wönpo Ratna Singha, and Künga Namgyal compiled its essence. In addition, many instructions have been seen and heard, such as the Zurmang tradition and the Gyatön Zhik Chöd tradition. Many qualified and unqualified practices have been seen and heard, and blessings were received from Chökyi Wangchuk Künga Namgyal for the connection to the body offering Chöd gathering. Furthermore, Chöd instructions were received from five Yongdzins, and empowerments, transmissions, and visualization sequences were requested accordingly. In the visualization sequences for rain invocation and disease cutting, there were a few instances of mixed success and failure. Dampa Ma Chik and others saw slight signs of blessings in dreams. Wönpo Chöpel repeatedly urged the compilation of this practice. Therefore, prayers were offered to the lineage Lamas and Yidam deities of the Chöd field to determine whether it was feasible. This is the life force of the Mother Tantra Dakinis, and it slightly consumes one's own lifespan. Since I am not well-known and lack ability, it may not benefit qualified and powerful individuals, but it may benefit some weak and inferior ones. Although the form of the deity was not clearly seen, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni himself appeared and was turning the great wheel of the Prajnaparamita Dharma. From his throne, four white silk threads extended, and I pulled them in four directions, with countless small white prayer flags erected on them.
