There are two ways: with attachment and without attachment. The first is as stated by Lord Naropa: "The consort with marks is the key to the place." Therefore, one should rely on the mudra of another's body to understand. The second, the way without attachment, has four keys. The key of time is: from the time when the shifting bliss with pain arises until it is not eliminated by the antidote. The key of the body is the same as before. The key of the place is the distinction of whether or not one has gained control over the bindu, in the navel, heart, throat, crown, or wherever it touches. The key of awareness is: there, with the mind attached to whatever, one should clearly visualize a naked consort, or aim to engage in union with her, and exert effort to the best of one's ability. By this, through the power of generating increasing bliss, bliss increases, and through that power, the very thought of affliction is suppressed, and one is separated from the pain of impure, shifting bliss, and the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought arises. Furthermore, in terms of holding the bindu, the main practice is similar to approach. It is the peg for transforming afflictions into the path. Namo Guru. Also, if the yogi does not want the mind to abide in the samadhi of conceptual thought, considering it an obstacle to meditation, then one should liberate conceptual thought in its own place through the guru's instructions. There are two types of this as well. The first is when it arises due to external appearances such as white, red, etc. For this, the conceptual thought belonging to the object grasped externally is liberated in its own place, relying on four keys. The key of time is: when conceptual thought does not disturb the mind. The key of the body is the same as above. The place is as stated by Lord Naropa: "The external appearance of white and red is the key to the place." Therefore, for any external object appearance such as white, red, etc., one should exert the key of awareness with full effort, and stare intently at whatever object it is. First, a consciousness with grasping and thought will arise towards that object, and after a while, the consciousness with grasping and thought towards that object will be liberated in its own place, and the experience of appearance without thought will arise. The second is when it scatters without external causes, the conceptual thought of the mind is liberated in its own place, there are four keys, of which the keys of time and body are the same as before. The place is whatever conceptual thought arises, such as anger, etc. The key of awareness is: turn the eyes upwards, that conceptual thought

Examining oneself in a naked manner, maintaining the continuation of inquiry when truth is not found. By relaxing, a clear and non-discriminating experience will manifest. If one meditates in this way repeatedly, one will be liberated from the faults of internal and external conceptualizations, and there is no doubt that the bliss-clarity non-conceptual wisdom will arise. The nail of dissolving thoughts in their own place. Namo Guru. Furthermore, if a yogi encounters internal and external obstacles, the following will explain how to transform obstacles into accomplishments through the instructions of the Guru, which are divided into two types: internal obstacles arising from one's own continuum, and external obstacles arising from the continuum of others. The first is further divided into two types, first the external obstacle: the internal changes caused by the imbalance of the body's four elements, in order to transform this into accomplishment, it has been explained in the chapter on eliminating external diseases and harmonizing the elements. The second is the obstacle arising from the mind and mental factors, which is also divided into two types. The first is the internal obstacle, the afflictive obstacle arising from desire and sexual love, transforming it into accomplishment has been explained in the chapter on transforming afflictions into the path. The second is the afflictions other than that, from hatred and so on up to the attachment to the three spheres, these obstacles arising from mental factors, transforming them into accomplishment has been explained in the chapter on dissolving thoughts in their own place. External obstacles arising from the continuum of others are also of two types: obstacles from spirits and humans. The first, if the appearance of spirit obstacles arises, the method of transforming it into accomplishment has been explained in the chapter on harmonizing the inner mind and eliminating diseases. Since the method of transforming obstacles into accomplishment has already been explained above, why is it listed as one of the five nails? Because here it specifically explains how to transform obstacles created by external humans into accomplishment, therefore it is listed as one of the five nails. Human obstacles are further divided into two and non-virtuous things such as the eight worldly concerns, and obstruct the practice of the sacred Dharma, the method of transforming it into accomplishment is: to turn those parents and others away from my Dharma.
