Great Mudra Ma! Rootless Guru Great Mudra Ma! May the unfabricated Guru's intention be fulfilled! In happiness, the one refuge, in sorrow, the one protector, Always completely holding, Supreme compassionate Lord Guru Master, Pray do not cast bad circumstances onto the wrong path! If you wish to receive empowerment, it is the empowerment of light: Glorious and holy Guru, all of you, Pray grant me the four ripening empowerments, Pray bless the four tantras to quickly ripen, Pray bestow the accomplishments of the four activities! At the very moment of making this supplication, The retinue dissolves into light and merges into the body of the main deity, The main deity is the embodiment of all the Buddhas, Whose appearance is clearly the actual Guru, From the place of the brow emits white light, Merging into one's own forehead, purifying the obscurations of the body, Obtain the vase empowerment, Gain power to meditate on the generation stage, Become fortunate to accomplish the Nirmanakaya fruit. From the place of the throat emits red light, Merging into one's own throat, purifying the obscurations of speech, Obtain the secret empowerment, gain power to meditate on the channels and winds, Become fortunate to accomplish the Sambhogakaya fruit. From the place of the heart emits blue light, Merging into one's own heart, purifying the obscurations of mind, Obtain the wisdom empowerment, gain power to meditate on absorption, Become fortunate to accomplish the Dharmakaya fruit. From the three places emit white, red, and blue light, Merging into the three places, purifying the defilements of the three doors, Obtain the fourth empowerment, gain power to meditate on the Great Seal, Become fortunate to accomplish the Svabhavikakaya fruit. Then the Guru dissolves into light and merges into oneself, One's own body, speech, and mind become one with the Guru's, The three vajras are inseparable and of one taste, Possessing the three ways of holding, spontaneously accomplished and self-liberated. Having said this, remain in the state of the Great Seal. Purify the vase. Na Guru Deva Dakini Sa Parivara Vajra Samaj Ah! Blessed One, it is good that you have come here! We are fortunate and blessed. In order to accept my offerings and merits, Please abide here. Equal to all three thousand worlds, With eight lotus petals and complete stamens, Offering comfortably and pleasantly, Please abide as you please. Padma Kamala Hum. Thus, having invited and requested the assembly of deities to abide, Merging into their respective deities, and with the deities generated, Inseparably merging into one, transforming into a body of complete assembly, May you always watch over beings like us with compassion. Ja Hum Bam Hoh, becoming non-dual. Then, make a brief offering and praise. Prostration, offering, confession, Rejoicing, exhortation, and supplication, Whatever small merit I have accumulated, I dedicate it all for perfect enlightenment. Perform the seven-branch offering. Then make the supplication: Also, if there are no empowerment substances, one can receive empowerment through visualization. One can always receive a continuous stream of water, or receive the empowerment of light as desired. The supplication for the empowerment of a continuous stream of water: Om, born from the sky, possessing a name, The supreme, without beginning or end, The nature of great Vajrasattva, Please make me attain Vajrasattva. The nectar stream from the union of the great Vajradhara father and mother, Entering from the crown of one's head, filling the body, clearing all obscurations, Purifying the four obscurations, obtaining the four empowerments, Manifesting the four bodies, possessing the four vajras, Having manifested, until samsara is empty, performing activities and benefiting beings. Whoever is connected Is the great Vajradhara with meaning. Thus, generate certainty and practice. If summarizing, then make the aspiration: Whatever merit I have accumulated in the three times, May all sentient beings, pervading the endless expanse of space, Become vessels of the unsurpassed Great Vehicle, May all attain the state of Vajradhara.
