Gelong Raga Asya was immediately taught the Dharma of going forth. Mangalam! May there be auspiciousness! Aspiration: The Mother of Introducing the True Meaning. Homage to the Guru. In whom if one takes refuge, one will surely not be deceived, The Three Jewels and the Yidam deities, By the power of the ocean of Dharma protectors who protect like children, May blessings be granted to completely fulfill all aspirations. The lineage of the great Sky-faring Vidyadhara, The hidden yogi who delights in clear light, All the intentions of Anu Tsering Bum, The wise one who is diligent with faith and virtue, The craftsman who is excellent in craftsmanship, intelligent and not arrogant, All the intentions of the craftsman Lama Kyab, May they be accomplished according to Dharma and as desired. This precious leisure and opportunity, which is difficult to obtain, Without being controlled by untimely death, May I be taken care of by the Protector Amitayus, May I attain the immortality of the life of the Vidyadhara. The substance of accumulating merit through offering upwards and giving downwards, All the glory, wealth, power, and possessions, May the noble Jambhala be a companion, May it increase like a summer river. Friends who accomplish respect and service in accordance with the Dharma, The life and fortune of sons and other descendants, May they be blessed by the noble Vasudhara, May they increase like the waxing moon. Even if retinues and enjoyments are abundant, Knowing that they are devoid of inherent existence, Just as a magical person is not bound by magic, May samsara be purified in its own place without being abandoned. When enjoying food such as tea, alcohol, and meat, Understanding that one's own body is originally the meaning of the deity's form, Whatever tastes are eaten, experiencing the emptiness of the great seal, May it be transformed into a flawless assembly offering. Whatever action of speaking and talking is done, Knowing that all sounds are the meaning of mantra, Whatever is spoken is the sound of the six-syllable vajra, May I realize the meaning of the great seal of mindfulness and awareness. Sleep is originally the meaning of the Dharmakaya, In the interval between sleep and dreams, Self-awareness, clear and empty, the clear light Dharmakaya, May clear light arise without abandoning delusion. Dreams are the realm of enjoyment, the Sambhogakaya, Grasping dreams, traveling to the Buddhafields by emanation, Asking the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for the sacred Dharma, May dreams be purified, appearing as clear light. Awakening is the Nirmanakaya.

Having understood the meaning of the body that is originally pure, in all actions amidst the turmoil of enemies and friends, may I not be swayed by the delusion of clinging to reality, and may I never be separated from the experience of illusion. From the navel center, ignite the fire of tummo. From the "Hum" (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) at the crown of the head, may the stream of nectar descend. Experiencing the four joys at the four chakras, may I stabilize the experience of the union of bliss and emptiness. May the elephant of the mind be bound by the rope of mindfulness, cutting off the force of its nature, which is based on harming others. Subduing one's own mind is the best of all subduing. May I become a true bhikshu in essence. Although in reality there is nothing, like a marketplace in a dream, because the true nature of reality is not realized, for all beings wandering in endless samsara, may genuine compassion arise from the depths of my heart. May all my merit and virtuous accumulations be dedicated to all sentient beings in the six realms, and may the aspiration arise to take upon myself all the sins and sufferings of all beings. May the gurus from whom I have received kindness be inseparable from all the Buddhas from the very beginning. With intense devotion and longing, may the great mudra of profound devotion arise. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana, from the very beginning, are free from acceptance and rejection, abandonment and adoption. Transcending all extremes such as existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, may I realize the great mudra of reality. Afflictions, wisdom, conceptual thoughts, the Dharmakaya, samsara, nirvana, sentient beings, perfect enlightenment—from the very beginning, they are illusory. Having understood the meaning of suchness, may I realize the great mudra of suchness. Not clinging to bliss, the great mudra of bliss and emptiness. Not being averse to clarity, the great mudra of clarity and emptiness. Without thought, free from grasping, the great mudra of emptiness. May I be free from attachment and aversion to the experience of bliss and clarity. On the mind, where there is nothing whatsoever to meditate upon, through the practice of being without distraction for even a moment, through the absence of difference between distraction and non-distraction, may I attain stable realization through familiarity and integration with practice. Although in reality good and evil are not truly established, for the sake of the arising of the form body for the benefit of beings, even if it costs my life, may I not commit evil, and may I never be satisfied in doing good. Hunger and satiety, happiness and suffering, and so forth, whatever diverse illusions of this life may arise, in the practice where there is no difference in reality, may the great mudra of equanimity arise. In the mind
