Thinking, 'If only I could do that.' Having possessions but not eating, afflicting the body, is said to be the way of the Tirthikas in vast enjoyment. The Lord Buddha taught to abandon both extremes. Thinking, 'If only I could eat on time as in the Vinaya.' The Vinaya's rule is to abandon alcohol and not eat in the evening. Like the Bodhisattva's rule, abandon meat and use only one seat. That also, like mantra, practice the inner fire offering. Having eaten like that, thinking of completing the accumulation without obscurations. Even though accumulating much wealth and abandoning worldly food, because there is attachment to food, there are also obscurations. Engaging in deity practice according to the secret mantra tradition also incurs downfalls. Thinking that even if worldly people have faith, the result is small. If one's own mind is not tamed, how can one tame others? Now is the time to single-mindedly accomplish one's own benefit. The time has come to accomplish the great benefit of others. Thinking that teaching the Dharma and managing the Sangha are not yet ripe. If one does not benefit others after accomplishing one's own benefit, the Bodhisattva vows will be broken, deceiving the Buddhas and their sons. What benefit will be truly accomplished at the end of life? Thinking of planting aspirations for the benefit of beings in the future. One person from the homeland, a monk, several stewards. The Guru's empowerment, quarrels, and sins are very great. If the power of evil is great, even if they are relatives, if they act unvirtuously, there is no chance of becoming good. Stingy, commanding, uncomfortable, harsh words. Not learning Dharma and qualities, greedy for wealth. Saying the Guru's qualities are unclean, enumerating faults. Thinking it would be good if there were no such monks. Wanting to learn qualities, placing the mind on the Dharma. Having faith in the Guru, loving close Dharma friends. Able to endure in secret, content in mind, the discipline has no hidden faults. Thinking it would be good to have hundreds and thousands of such monks. Having no altruistic mind, keeping one's own desires in mind. Supporting relatives with wealth and doing personal business. Spending money on alcohol and drugs. Thinking it would be good if there were no such stewards. Thinking of the Guru's teachings, having a great altruistic mind. Skilled in abandoning enemies and lawsuits by means. Not wasting wealth, spending it on the Dharma. Thinking that such a steward is a true Dharma protector. Not wanting the Guru, taking qualities by means. Having received empowerment and transmission, there is no outer commitment. Citing high lineages, hiding the Guru. Thinking it would be good if there were no such students. Having faith and commitment, striving in practice. The mind is tamed, possessing wisdom, compassion, and realization. Even having heard much Dharma, preserving one's own Dharma lineage.

Yes! Such students, I cherish with all my heart. With the mind of Bodhicitta as the good motivation for practice, and discipline as the main guideline for conduct, practicing the generation and completion stages of union, I think such a tradition can be established, and the Dharma can be propagated. In this degenerate age, if one cannot actually display the miraculous transformations of changing outer appearances, but instead practices the swift path of the messenger and other methods, I think it's like throwing a burning torch into water. In India, China, and the snowy land of Tibet, although there are countless amazing sacred sites, it is difficult, time-consuming, and laborious to uphold discipline and travel. I think practicing the channels and winds, one's own body is the best place. Even if one wants to meet the guru, the father and son lineage of treasure revealers, it is difficult to go, and even if one meets them, it is difficult to obtain the Dharma. Just meeting the face does not satisfy the desire for Dharma. Therefore, I think it is better to pray from afar. Nowadays, although there is no certainty in sectarian talk, all the treasure prophecies seem to have been discussed in the Earth Pig year (possibly referring to some kind of conspiracy). The supreme guru, father and son, are the true embodiment of the perfect Buddha, so I think they should be cherished in the heart. Profound Dharma is like the stars in the sky, but only through this path have countless accomplished ones emerged. This path is simple, easy to practice, and has blessings. I think the co-emergent union should be cherished in the heart. No matter who possesses empowerment, transmission, and qualities, they should be obtained through skillful means, without breaking vows. I think the act of accumulating virtuous Dharma is upholding discipline, and the behavior is like a bee collecting honey. Food and wealth obtained through various methods, if there is none, practice will be interrupted; if there is too much, it will become the root of downfall. No matter how much there is, it is difficult to generate contentment and few desires, so I think one should only accumulate necessities. Accumulating wealth for offerings, donations, Rishus (a type of offering), and hundreds of offerings, although one thinks so, it cannot be achieved from the beginning, but instead becomes an accomplice of the enemy. Therefore, I think it should be used for the Dharma immediately. Disciples accumulate black wealth like the ocean, piling it in front of me with trust, even if offering to the deity and sealing it with vows of dedication, I think one will not fall due to the obscurations of wealth. Even if times of poverty, hunger, and thirst arise, for a disciple who practices for one lifetime, one should not say abandon practice and accumulate wealth to support me, as this will obstruct practice. Whether relatives or non-relatives, if disciples accumulate wealth and form sectarian and group attachments, then I have no right to interfere.
