By the power of the vow, May you not inflict illness on me, the benefactor, and the patrons, Nor bring disaster to the livestock, Nor send blight, frost, or hail upon the fields. A woman adorned with jade ornaments, Dressed in silk and satin robes, Holding a golden libation vase in her hand, We beseech you to come to this place of offering. The offerings we present to you are, The offering of nectar medicine, The offering of the seven royal emblems. The offering of the eight auspicious symbols. The offering of the seven precious jewels. The offering of various silks and satins. The offering of nine kinds of grains. The offering of the three whites and three sweets. The offering of the finest tea and wine. The offering of sky-tree patterns. The offering of yak, sheep, and goat. The offering of various forms. The offering of the five kinds of offering. By the merit of offering to the hearth goddess, Yumo, May you not inflict illness on me, the benefactor, and the patrons, Nor bring disaster to the livestock, Nor send blight, frost, or hail upon the fields. May the gods above also be household deities, May the nagas below also be household deities, May the nyen spirits in between also be household deities. Please remain steadfast in this center. Please be the support of this patron, granting the accomplishment of whatever is desired. May happiness and enjoyment be fully complete, May offspring, wealth, and lineage increase and flourish, May auspiciousness and well-being be accomplished. Kye! Protect the sun in the northern direction! Grant the desired attainments! From the central direction, protect Vairochana! Protect the sun in the central direction! Accomplish all desired purposes! Please reside in this palace! Please remain steadfast in this mandala! Please grant the desired attainments! To Vairochana and all the retinue of the five families of Buddhas, I offer various offerings: I offer the nectar medicine offering! I offer the seven royal emblems offering! I offer the eight auspicious substances offering! I offer the seven precious jewels offering! I offer various silks offering! I offer the nine grains offering! I offer the three white and three sweet offering! I offer the finest tea and alcohol offering! I offer the sky tree drawing offering! I offer the yak, sheep, and goat offering! I offer various forms offering! I offer the five types of offerings! By the merit of offering to the mother goddess and the herdsboy, May I and the patrons who provide resources, Not be afflicted with illnesses! May the livestock not suffer losses! May the fields not be afflicted by frost, hail, or drought! Please accomplish all that is desired! Then, attach various colored silks and precious jewels to a three-sectioned or nine-sectioned bamboo cane, and say these words: Kye! This place is the center of the world, In the southern realm of Jambudvipa, The strong tree is bamboo, The pure bamboo is Sharara. The grandfather of bamboo is called Heaven, The grandmother of bamboo is called Earth, The two parents are Heaven and Earth. Their son is Ba and Bamboo, The well-born one is Pururu, Possessing eight qualities. The straight and upright one is Karara, The empty inside is the state of Bodhicitta. The sound of bamboo is "Kururu," The sound of Ba is "Lhangse Lhang." The outer skin is white like a conch shell, At the tip, a blue light blazes. The green leaves are thick and dense, The flower is blue-green, The fruit is a white conch shell. Such a precious bamboo, Is joyfully obtained through precious means. Offered respectfully by the practitioner, May the incarnate lord, the mantra holder, Increase the population above and propagate in the fields. Adorned with bamboo, various ornaments are attached, Offered to the household deity and its retinue. May it be the adornment of body, speech, and mind! May it be the support of body, speech, and mind!
