Ritual for Praising the Five Lineage Household Gods Ritual for Praising the Five Lineage Household Gods Herein is the Ritual for Praising the Five Lineage Household Gods. Homage to the assembly of Guru, Yidam, and Dakinis! For this ritual's preparations: Five white Torma, various shapes. Three of yak, sheep, and goat. Five types of offerings. Seven royal emblems. Eight auspicious symbols. Various tree branches. Nine or five tree paintings. Various white and red scarves. Various jewels. Various grains. Various wool colors. Various sweets such as honey and molasses. Three of first tea, first alcohol, and first milk. Five skies of directional colors. If these are not complete, then make one sky of various colors. After these have been fumigated, purified, and blessed, praise them well in the center of the mandala. It is good to praise the household gods when they reside in the center of the mandala. After the great fumigation, say this: Om Svabhava Shuddha Sarva (藏文：ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷ་ཝ་ཤུདྡྷསརྦ་，梵文天城体： ॐ स्वभावशुद्ध सर्व，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ svabhāva śuddha sarva，汉语字面意思：Om, purity of self, everything), all of myself and the objects of my grasping become emptiness. From emptiness, the yellow syllable HUNG completely transforms, and from that, within a vast and spacious vessel made of jewels, the offerings and Torma become a great ocean of uncontaminated wisdom nectar. In the center of that, on a triple lotus seat, the household god Ge Thung, with a blue body, wearing three layers of felt, adorned with jewels and turquoise, with one face and two arms, having a wrathful and smiling expression, the right and left hands holding conch pillars, the two feet seated on a lotus seat.
