Remember your own lineage and descendants, quickly send down a stream of nectar. See what power and ability you all have, send down rain this very moment. By the truth of the Sugatas of the three times, with loving-kindness, urge the nagas to rain. By the power and strength of the secret lord Hayagriva and Padmasambhava, urge all the nagas to rain. King of the Nagas, Buddha Bhagavan, Great King of the Nagas, with countless attendants, Black Naga Demon, the eight great nagas, and all the nagas of the four lineages, are truly urged to send down rain. Quickly send down a great stream of rain here. Thus urged, all the chief and retinue of the Naga King, submerged their lower bodies in the ocean of nectar, and the snake's tail violently churned the ocean. Waves surged and splashed, and from the rays, great rain fell, filling the earth and sky, causing plants, trees, and fruits to grow lush and green. Focus on that very object, and meditate single-pointedly. om nāga rājā samaya jaja phroṃ phroṃ phob phob. nāga rājā char phob phob. nāga rājā rbad rbad char la rbad. nāga rājā rbud rbud char la rbud. nāga rājā bskul bskul char la bskul. bhari shaya pata ya myur du phob. nāga rājā phroṃ phroṃ hril hril. shar shar. phob phob. oṃ nāga tali nan hūṃ phaṭ. If this mantra is recited, the raindrops will be large. Recite this no less than a thousand times per session. Then, from the vase water of the three-family protectors, pour a little into the naga vase. From the heart of the vase deity, the three-family protectors, rays of light emanate and strike all the nagas. With the intention of compassion, urge them to the work of raining. The voice of the three-family protectors is like a thousand thunders. "Naga kings and your retinues, quickly send down a great stream of rain," they said.
