Like that, no benefit will arise. Therefore, in order for all sentient beings to attain Buddhahood, in order to guide all sentient beings, offering with the intention of attaining Buddhahood oneself is a completely pure thought. Therefore, just as straw and chaff arise alongside rice in the field, averting obstacles in this life and all happiness in future lives will come along, and ultimately Buddhahood will be attained. The words of offering with such an intention are: "Vast Ocean Mother" or "Radiant with Wisdom," etc., "This Three Thousand Worlds," etc., recited as stated in one's own ritual. Om Sarva Tathagata Ni (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ནི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व तथागत नि, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva tathāgata ni, literal Chinese meaning: Om, all Tathagatas), is all the Thus-gone ones, the nature of the five bodies. Sanskrit Romanization: saparivāra, literal Chinese meaning: retinue) is together with the retinue. Sanskrit Romanization: vajra āloke, literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Light) is the vajra lamp. This goddess Alokema is the messenger of all Buddhas. That is stated in the Great Tantra of the Compendium. Puja Ni (Tibetan: པུ་ཛ་ནི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पूज, Sanskrit Romanization: pūja, literal Chinese meaning: offering) is offering. Megha Ni (Tibetan: མེ་གྷ་ནི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मेघ, Sanskrit Romanization: megha, literal Chinese meaning: cloud) is cloud. Sanskrit Romanization: samudra, literal Chinese meaning: sea) is sea. Sparana is radiating. Samaye is samaya (vow). Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨཱཧུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: आःहुं, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ huṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Ah Hum) means: Om is body, Ah is speech, Hum is mind, it is the nature of the three vajras. If one does not know mantras and verses, then offer to the Buddha according to the Sutra tradition. Offer to the Dharma. Offer to the Sangha. Or, it is sufficient to simply say, "I offer to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas." If one also offers to the ten guardians of the world, the twenty-four field protectors, and the eight classes of gods and demons, they will be pleased and become helpers. As stated in the "Questions of Good Arms," etc.: "If I respectfully offer praise, tormas, and lamps, may they partake of these, accept them well, and may they cause the fruition of my actions." Thus it is said. Up to this point, the detailed explanation of the external lamp offering of material objects, which is universally known to outsiders, insiders, Bonpos and Buddhists, Sutras and Tantras, new and old schools, is complete. Secondly, regarding the inner lamp offering of the body, there are two traditions: Sutra and Tantra. The Sutra tradition is that when the Buddha Lamp-maker was previously a Bodhisattva, he made his body into a lamp offering. After becoming a Buddha, he told this story. The king, having developed faith, offered his own hand as a lamp, and his hand turned to gold. Therefore, the king was known as the Golden Hand King. When Shakyamuni Buddha was previously a monk, he completely...

Furthermore, offering lamps in front of stupas, and also, the way the Bhagavan, when he was a bhikshu in the past, lit his hand as a lamp and dispelled the darkness in which the Brahma beings wandered in the world, is widely proclaimed in the Jataka tales of the Buddha. Among these, offering the entire body is said to be something that a Bodhisattva who has not attained the ground cannot do, and should not be done. Offering fingertips, etc., requires the ability to suppress illness with the excellent samadhi of tranquility, and if this ability is lacking, regret will arise, making it difficult to enter the path of Dharma. Moreover, one must primarily follow the Sutra system. If one is a yogi of Anuttara Tantra, not to mention the entire body, even fingertips should not be offered. If offered, it is a root downfall. Because one's own body is the nature of the deity and the mandala, it will become a cause of harm to the deity. Therefore, in the teachings of Anuttara Tantra, the inner lamp, as stated in the Narakta Atonement Ritual: "The vast and pervasive skin is the lamp vessel, blood and pus fill it as lamp oil, flesh and bones are erected as the wick, the self-luminous radiance is lit as the lamp." The skin is the lamp vessel, all self-born blood and pus are the lamp oil, all flesh and bones are the wick, the radiance of the body is the self-born lamp, therefore, knowing that this self-born lamp itself. As stated in the Father Tantra, the thirty-two deities of Guhyasamaja, as stated in the Mother Tantra, the sixty-two deities of Chakrasamvara, as stated in the Nyingma school, all the peaceful and wrathful hundred deities, naturally reside in one's own body, and by offering the self-born lamp, the intention of the deity is fulfilled, and the meaning of the four empowerments and the supreme and common attainments are naturally bestowed. As an example of this, many terms for the lamp of one's own body are proclaimed. The lamp of the secret channels, winds, and bindus, Orgyen Rinpoche said: "The Avadhuti channel is the lamp vessel, the self-luminous five lights fill it as lamp oil, the seven-layered chakras are erected as the wick, the lamp of Bodhicitta is lit." The Avadhuti channel is the self-born lamp vessel, the nature of the self-luminous five lights, the five elements of wind entering the central channel is the self-born lamp oil. The crown, throat, heart, navel, secret, topknot, and wish-fulfilling jewel chakras, the contemplation of the seven-layered chakras, is the self-born wick, all seven chakras are lit with Bodhicitta.
