Entering the Dharma is good, But a life of poverty is truly苦. Hoping to have Enjoyments without begging, One then envies the rich. The poor search but cannot find, which is苦, The rich cannot sustain their wealth, which is苦, These two are present in everyone. It's not the fault of entering the Dharma, But the fault of obtaining a human body. Observe the nature of that thought, And the great suffering of hardship, Combining the two creates strength. The realized ones travel around, seeking this suffering. Even if one does not seek suffering, One can still combine with the suffering that naturally arises. A wanderer without attachment Is the inheritance given by the Buddha. There is no sin in it. Again, on the way back, Among many wealthy families, Carrying dried meat, butter, and other things. All the mountains and lands Are adorned with cattle and sheep. The sun is warm and rainbows appear, The grassland is the color of jade, Various flowers bloom like a garden. The bees and cuckoos sing sweetly, The flowing water murmurs pleasantly, The heart also feels joy and happiness. Wishing to stay in the grassland, Wishing to pray and sing. At that time, all the flowers Are offered to the Yidam deity with intention. Furthermore, if one touches a blue flower, One violates the vows. In the center of the flower garden, Laying down a cushion and straightening the body, Focusing on the joyful and ethereal thoughts. If, in observation, Joy and weariness are equal, Then there is a small equality, A small strength arises from this. Likewise, the body is without pain and the mind is without worry, The sun is warm and food is abundant. I myself know the essence of the Dharma, No need to ask or inquire. Even if I die, there is no fear of falling into the lower realms, This life has been dedicated to the Dharma. The mind is full of joy and happiness, But also tormented by various illnesses and sufferings, Why does this kind of situation befall me? Wholeheartedly taking refuge in the Three Jewels, Carefully performing pacifying rituals and offerings, Is it the hindrance of demons and evil spirits? Or the curse of enemies? Or the ripening of past bad karma? This is a great feast of worldly gods and spirits, How to pacify it, how to help, thoughts are numerous. Thus, joy and sorrow

Two kinds of thoughts, joy and sorrow. If in the view, the taste is equal, The tradition of the great scholar Shakya Shri, Is the instruction of taking happiness and suffering as the path. Taking happiness and suffering as the path, The eleventh chapter of the song. Also, listen, diligent one, Fame is joy and infamy is sorrow, These are two aspects of the eight worldly dharmas. Although one does not have great qualities worthy of praise, Based on one's own transmission and realization, Yet many foolish and faithful patrons Say that one is the Buddha of the three times. Some say that one is an accomplished one. Although one does not know when one will die, Others praise one, saying that one has clairvoyance. Even pieces of clothing, nail clippings, and bathwater, Many faithful people take and drink them. Chieftains, scribes, local leaders, and Reincarnated lamas, abbots, aristocrats, and so on, Many who are greedy and arrogant Seek audiences and request empowerments and teachings. Even groups from unknown and distant places Run after others, repeating idle gossip, Saying that one is a good person. At that time, self-importance and arrogance arise. Because everyone is very respectful, One also thinks that one is a good person. Fame is a demon, the son of a god. If arrogance arises, it blocks the path to liberation. Fame is like an echo from a cliff, Transform it into the expanse of the view of emptiness. When sitting on a high throne, And when great people and lamas prostrate, It is the greatness of dharma and empowerment. I am sitting on a high throne, How could others be worthy of prostrating? When giving empowerments and transmissions, etc., One also offers dharma in the manner of a mandala. Abandon the thought of wanting to be a lama above lamas, That is taking fame as the path. Likewise, when one is without fault, And meaningless abuse and slander are cast upon one, And one is said to be false and counterfeit, So-and-so's son and so-and-so's son, And one's lineage is exposed. Deceiving men and seducing women, Even things like tooth decay and eye mucus, It is said that this one has gathered the essence of the village. One blazes with anger just to seize one's own wealth. When giving empowerments, transmissions, and instructions, It is said that he has no basis and is false. If the instructions are written down, Profound teachings, It is said that one is deceiving with self-made lies. If sickness is pacified, demons are calmed, and there is benefit, It is said that one has opened the mouth for demons to eat. Whatever good or bad one says, if there is obstruction, It is said that it is a mischievous spirit following behind. If the activities of the dharma assembly are great, It is said that there are evil spells to control others. When hearing such unpleasant sounds, Why blaze with anger at one who is without fault? I have not spoken lies.
