That which is called the extraordinary armor of Bodhi, is the essence spoken from the profound single intention of the Dharma. The instant darkness falls, the self-nature of perfect recollection is Hayagriva, red in color, holding a staff and a threatening mudra. Meditate on the large body, complete with wrathful attire, terrifying to behold. With one horse-cry, all harm-doers are subdued, like insects gathered by the wind. With the second cry, they are bound by oath, and their life-essence is offered. With the third cry, imagine them scattered like feathers in the wind, powerless, banished to the far shore of the ocean. From the body emanate flames and storms of weapons. Vajra wheels, swords, crosses, kīlas, and volcanic tents, six layers in all. In the spaces between, various wrathful deities swirl like wind. The six protective circles are like seamless eggs, imagine all that needs protection contained within them. This is protection through fierce means. Taking refuge, protective circles, repelling, etc., no matter how much effort is made, yet again

Dakini. Emanate countless billions of identical forms. In the right hand, hold a skull cup made of precious jewels. Pour from it a vast ocean of nectar. By offering it to the assembly of gurus, yidams, dakinis, and dharma protectors, satisfy and please all. Especially, repeatedly offer to the oath-bound dharma protectors and their retinues who act against oneself. Meditate on them being extremely pleased and satisfied. Likewise, offer to the worldly protectors, hordes of obstructing spirits, gods, demons, local deities, and the six classes of beings. The dakini offers in their respective places. Visualize each receiving the enjoyment they desire. When one is sick and unable to maintain samadhi, recite the syllable "Phaṭ" (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal meaning: cut) a hundred times from the throat. This will swiftly eliminate sickness and evil spirits. This has been repeatedly proven through experience, so have certainty. This is the supreme method for dispelling sickness, evil spirits, and obstacles. One should also practice this for others, blending one's own body, speech, and mind with those of others. Although doing so is beneficial for others, one may appear to be afflicted by sickness, evil spirits, and defilement. If one does not have great confidence in realization, one should not do this. Transfer each individual's consciousness to their respective body, blend the consciousnesses, and offer to each individual body separately. This is the practice of a middling realized being. Separately apply and separately perform offering and generosity. If one's realization is low, do this in a way that does not harm oneself. Next is the visualization related to this: At the place where one's own or another's body is sick, absorb all beings' sickness, evil spirits, sins, and obscurations. Visualize it becoming rotten, and a great stream of blood flowing down. All harm-doers and obstructing spirits drink this, rejoicing and being satisfied without any remainder. If any of the four limbs are sick, at the sole of the foot or palm of the hand, visualize the red syllable "Raṃ" (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal meaning: fire) blazing like fire, burning the sick limb like incense. From the root to the joints, then visualize non-conceptuality. The supreme visualization for cutting disease is bloodletting and burning. For stomach pain caused by indigestion, visualize the holes, phlegm, and other diseases in the stomach flowing down like wastewater, which the disease demons drink. For cases where stomach disease prevents eating, visualize the stomach filled with iron flesh-flies, which bore into and devour the entire stomach. If choking occurs, visualize a black man with a snake's head inserting a red-hot iron hammer into the throat from the mouth, burning the throat, esophagus, and entire stomach, becoming empty, and then the red-hot iron hammer exits from below. If there is a headache and throbbing in the brain, visualize the head burning.
