But this Vajra Lekpa, known as the red and black blacksmith of the world, even if it is only a part of his emanation, is a worldly god and arrogant being. One might wonder, isn't he a wisdom protector? In order to be the leader of the arrogant ones of the world and to quickly destroy all the malicious ones who harm the Buddha's teachings, even if he takes the form of a fierce and violent worldly being and a T'eu Rang with magical powers, his essence is wisdom. As Orgyen Rinpoche said: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). There is a huge red sandalwood forest there, a garden with blooming flowers. Tigers, poisonous snakes, wild boars, and mad wild bulls are numerous, making it impossible to enter. In good times, rainbow tents and flower rain will fall. Because it is always foggy, it is difficult to see. At the summit of that mountain, people cannot really see it, a skull castle built with piled dry and wet human skulls, swept by fire storms. Many decorations are made of human skin and dry and wet human skulls. Corpses and horse corpses are scattered everywhere, and rivers of human blood and horse blood flow. In the outer tomb, there is a palace made of various jewels. There, all the retinues of the glorious Wisdom Protector always reside. In good times, the Bhagavan Vajrapani will come there, teach the Dharma to the dakinis and the eight classes of gods and demons, and turn the wheel of Dharma. On the southwest side of that mountain, there is a crystal cave, shaped like a Rakshasa's mouth opening. People cannot see it, there is a palace made of various jewels, with perfect enjoyment and arrangements. Damchen Dorje Lekpa resides there, because he is the mountain god and land guardian of that Malaya Mountain. In the good times at the summit of that mountain, when Vajrapani Bodhisattva descends, Dorje Lekpa also gathers in the retinue of Vajrapani Bodhisattva to listen to empowerment and Dharma. The scriptures say: At the summit of Malaya Burning Iron Mountain, in the skull palace, Damchen Dorje Lekpa resides in the retinue of the glorious Vajrapani Bodhisattva.
