Although each of them has different histories, lineages, and methods of accomplishment, here, the history is mainly told focusing on the three: the Flaming Mother, the lineage of the Black Butcher, and the Empowerment of Accomplishment. However, this goddess herself is the Dharmakaya Great Mother, the Great Mother who gives birth to all Buddhas, in a state that pervades all like the sky. From this, she appears as the Sambhogakaya rainbow-like Vajra Corpse-risen Mother, Selfless Mother, Vajravarahi, Lotus Splendor Mother, and Krodheshvari, etc., becoming the mother of all Yidams. In a past kalpa, in order to tame beings through emanation, a Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth bhumi transformed into one who is unwavering in aspiration and samadhi. Through the empowerment of the eyes of the Buddhas, that Bodhisattva transformed into the wrathful one named Wrathful Manifestation, green in color, with ten faces, a thousand arms, and thirty-two feet. The size of his body was equal to the sky, and he displayed miracles by pressing down all the realms of the great thousandfold world with his feet. Then, he gathered up the emanation and remained on the summit of Mount Meru. The five Buddha families, Avalokiteshvara, and all the eight classes of gods and demons gathered. There, that Bodhisattva made the aspiration: "May I become a fierce body, tame the untamable, and protect the teachings!" As soon as he made this aspiration, that Bodhisattva transformed into the goddess and her servant, riding mules and donkeys, wandering in the world. At that time, some of the retinue, such as the gods, were frightened and terrified, while others mocked and laughed. Then, the noble Avalokiteshvara said: "This is the aspiration of a Bodhisattva. Do not scold, but recognize her as refuge and protection, and worship her without fear." So the eight classes of gods and demons worshiped and praised her. Then, she went to the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, animals, and asuras, and taught the Dharma, leading all obstacles onto the path of liberation. Therefore, she is known as the Hell-emptying Mother, the Hungry Ghost Satisfying Mother, and the Animal Goddess Yangsham Ma. Then, she went to the summit of Mount Meru and taught the Dharma to the gods. Vajrapani said to the gods: "Make offerings to the gods!"
