Like a rosary strung with pearls, all the gurus are arranged in order from the top. All the Kagyu gurus gather around like clouds. All of them are naked, wearing the six bone ornaments. Visualize them all holding a damaru in their right hand and a bell in their left hand. To his right is the teacher Shakyamuni Buddha, and all the Buddhas, including the Thousand Buddhas of the Auspicious Aeon. Among them, all except Shakyamuni Buddha are Sambhogakaya. On the left are Vajrapani and the Eight Close Sons, and all the Vidyadharas of the Secret Mantra. In front is the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara in union with his consort. All the deities of the Father Tantra, Mother Tantra, Non-Dual Tantra, and the Three Yogas. Behind is the Dharmakaya Great Mother, stacked with all the scriptures of the Unsurpassed Tantra. Around the seat, all the heroes and dakinis are dense like clouds. Below are the Black Cloaked Vajrakila and his consort, surrounded by all the Dharma protectors and guardians of wisdom. Meditate that all of these are from the beginning the nature of wisdom beings and samaya beings, inseparable. And think that yourself and all sentient beings are included under their protection. Fold your palms together, and from "May all sentient beings, as infinite as the sky, both self and others" to "I take refuge in the assembly of Dharma protectors and guardians," recite the refuge prayer from the Ocean of Conquerors ritual seven or twenty-one times. Then, all the objects of refuge dissolve into light and merge into yourself. Your own mind is the Buddha Jewel. Speech, the movement of wind is the nature of the Āli and Kāli mantras, the Dharma Jewel. The wind-bindu of the body is the nature of heroes and dakinis, which is inherently present, but not yet manifest, obscured by the veil of ignorance, those are: Manifest the Three Jewels abiding within yourself. In particular, the nature of the mind is emptiness, the Dharmakaya; the nature of clarity is the Sambhogakaya; the form of non-cessation is the Nirmanakaya; realize that the essence of the three times is inherently the Svabhavikakaya, and think that the Three Jewels are inseparable in nature, like water merging into water, relax your mind without fabrication, and recite the six-syllable mantra. King Songtsen Gampo: Om, I take refuge in the Buddha. Ma, I take refuge in the Dharma. Ni, I take refuge in the Sangha. Pad, I take refuge in the Lama. Me

I take refuge in the Yidam! Hung, I take refuge in the Dakinis! By taking refuge in this way, one is also saved from the lower realms and samsara. It arises from reciting the six-syllable mantra. This is the meaning of what was said. Meditate and recite the above visualization. Sometimes, condense the refuge field and recite in a state of non-objectification. The refuge field, the one who takes refuge, and the three aspects of refuge are not established as anything other than one's own mind, not even a particle. The mind, from the beginning, is not the nature of existence or non-existence, permanence or annihilation, etc. It is emptiness, the Dharmakaya, unborn. Remaining in that state is the ultimate refuge. I take refuge in the emptiness of my own mind, the Dharmakaya! Furthermore, knowing oneself as refuge is the best of refuges. One should know that this unborn mind of oneself is the complete Buddha from the beginning. As it is said in the Tantras: The mind itself is the complete Buddha. If one understands the meaning of what is said, then the sound of the Ali (ཨཱ་ལི།,आलि,āli,vowels) and Kali (ཀཱ་ལི།,कालि,kāli,consonants) mantras of the generation and completion stages is the sacred Dharma. The channels, winds, and bindus of the body, abiding in the nature of heroes and heroines, are the Sangha. Therefore, first understand it, then experience it, and finally truly realize it, then one enters into refuge and becomes inseparable from the Three Jewels. When clarifying the refuge field, there is no need to invite the wisdom deities, etc. Because it is said in the scriptures that there is no place pervaded by space that is not pervaded by the body, speech, and mind of the Buddha. Although they do not have the characteristics of coming and going, they appear wherever one focuses, like the moon in water. This is the meaning of that. All the diseases, sufferings, eight fears, and sixteen fears of this life, except for the ripening of karma, are protected by taking refuge. Outwardly, it is the foundation of all vows and commitments. Inwardly, it is the escort that prevents obstacles to the channels, winds, and bindus. Secretly, it is the support that prevents obstacles to the view, meditation, etc., on the paths and bhumis. In the future, it is the ship that saves one from the lower realms and samsara. All of this is this refuge. Therefore, in each session, do seven or twenty-one refuges. Recite the essence of refuge, the six-syllable mantra, a thousand times. Do two sessions in the morning, two sessions in the afternoon. Two sessions at night, for a total of six sessions. For these three days, practice it with single-pointed focus. The Victorious Gyalwa Rinpoche's...
