It is like the case of the Yoga Tantra of Tra[ta] Hundred. Moreover, according to the treatise of the Vajra Garland of Afghanistan, although it is said that it is permissible to give empowerment by reciting mantras after visualizing the self-generation, the front-generation, and the vase deity completely, it is difficult to gain stability in the generation stage nowadays, so I do not do that. According to the Nyingma tradition, it is said that the self-generation, the front-generation, and the vase, these three rituals are generated once at the same place and time, but since that is the Nyingma tradition, it is not applied here. The great leisurely ones of the New School say that one should practice the self-generation mandala from Bhairava, and perform ground lines and so on. Here, since it relies on painting, ground lines are not necessary. In the great mandala rituals of the New School, there is no case where the front-generation is meditated and the mantra 'ran dza' is recited and then finished. Instead, the front-generation is meditated as inseparable from the self-generation mandala, and from the heart of the front-generation deity, a single main deity is emanated, residing in the gatehouse of the east gate, making offerings and requests, etc., so this is the same in meaning. On this, the Extensive Vajra Garland composed by the great scholar Yeshe Wangchuk says: 'Some, after having created the colored powder mandala, also generate the self-generation from it.' Moreover, Je Mikyo Zhap (Lord Unmoving Feet) said: 'Especially in some practices of the Vajra Garland, there appears to be a tradition of generating the self-generation, front-generation, and vase simultaneously.' As it is said, Padma Karpo (White Lotus) also did so. In particular, the great scholar Taklung Ngawang Drakpa also made the mandala of Vajrapani, Subduer of Death, of the Purifying Tantra in that way. Just as the nine deities of Vajradhatu from the Vajra Garland and Mitra Hundred, etc., and the mandalas of the Purifying Tantra, etc., are also made in that way, here the self-generation and the other-generation are not different, and according to the treatise of the Vajra Garland of Afghanistan, it is permissible to visualize the vase deity completely. Therefore, this method of empowerment and practice is easy to perform and takes little time, but there is nothing incomplete and it will not become a fault of interruption. I have extensively studied the treatises on empowerment and ritual, and I am a scholar with amazing special talents. Then, when I, Ra Ga Asya, was twenty-three years old, I received the empowerment of the root mandala of the Kunrig from Lama Ngawang Jigme Drakpa, a descendant of Obran Palgyi Wangchuk, who was extremely knowledgeable in mantra, had extensive empowerments and transmissions, possessed clairvoyance, and had established many signs of accomplishment.

He asked, "I have received the Sakya, Kagyu, and Taklung traditions, what else should I ask for?" I requested, "I want the great gate of liberation." He said, "I don't have that in mind, I need to look at the ritual text." When performing the empowerment, he looked at the text, and because the mudras and other things were difficult to coordinate, he seemed to suspect that I was not satisfied. During the empowerment, he said, "You go outside." I wanted to learn the hidden rules and practices along the way, and although he said it three times, I didn't go out, but stayed there. The lama straightened his body, made a look, and said "Sumbhani" from his throat, so I involuntarily had to go behind the door. I thought, "This lama has great power." Therefore, faith also arose. After walking a little further, he said, "Come in." Then he gave a detailed explanation and empowerment of Kunrig (All-Knowing). After that, when I was planning to go to Kham, I also secretly hid the ritual text. From Gonla Samtenpa, I learned the recitation methods, practices, and extensive offering mudras. After that, I went to Kham. An official said that a blessing ceremony was needed, so I performed the ceremony for about twenty days. The words, mantras, mudras, and samadhi were accurate without any distraction, it was difficult at first, and then I was able to coordinate. I gave my old father, the master, fifteen to twenty empowerments. After that, I went into retreat and performed a practice of the root awareness. After that, for some lamas who became my Dharma friends, I compared and proofread the transmission of the ritual texts, the extensive cremation practices, the coordination of recitations and mudras, and the reversal empowerments. After that, in order to hear some Nyingma empowerments and transmissions from Karma Vishuddha, who became my Vajra friend and a holder of the Tripitaka, he came here. He himself had previously received twelve mandalas from Jamyang Chökyi Wangchuk at the Riwoché monastery, so the empowerment practices were done with me, with corrections, and I requested the eleven mandalas that I had not received before. Later, my mother and I together received a Kunrig empowerment from Drungpa Drupgyu Tenpa Namgyal. Also, Tulku Delek Nyinpo had heard the empowerment of the twelve mandalas from Taklung Shabdrung, the Kunrig.
