Or at the time of a great torma, or when offering in a great fire pit, recite loudly, partake, erect a black banner. After the torma is finished, if you wish to offer torma to the Gelugpa protectors, offer the tormas in order. Then offer the great torma. Hold the black banner on top of the overturned torma plate, and perform the dance. Namo! By the truth of the command of the assembly of deities of Black Hayagriva, may all enemies, obstructors, and evil spirits be drawn under the burning Mount Meru of the torma plate! Dza Hum Bam Ho! Hum! On the heap of the slain enemies and obstructors, the great hero performs the dance. From wherever in the ten directions of space, assemblies of wrathful deities and wrathful goddesses, assemblies of gods and demons, and assemblies of messengers, come to the dance, chem se chem! Hum! I am the wrathful body of Hayagriva. The neighing of the horse resounds three times above. The first time, all of the formless realm trembles. The second time, the form realm is brought under control. The third time, the desire realm is suppressed with power. This is the asceticism of Hayagriva! Hum! I am the wrathful body of Hayagriva. The horse dance strikes the head of the three realms. The first time, the world above trembles. The second time, the earth gods are brought under control. The third time, the underworld is suppressed with power. This is the power and ability of the wrathful one! Hum! I am the wrathful body of Hayagriva. The three poisons, enemies, and obstructors are pressed underfoot. Hatred, the male lineage, is pressed to the right. Desire, the female lineage, is pressed to the left. Ignorance, the lineage, is cut off from the root. This is the activity of the messenger! Hum! Hateful enemies and harmful obstructors, sorcery, evil spirits, and yaksha assemblies, like dust under the feet, are struck by the assembly of wrathful Hayagrivas. They are suppressed with the majesty of the wisdom Mount Meru. They are cut with the weapon of the fierce mantra vajra. They are burned with the rays of the wisdom fire. They are scattered by the wind of samsaric karma. Until the teachings are not exhausted, may enemies and obstructors not rise up! Om Vajra Krodha Hayagriva Hum Phat! Sarva Vighnan Shatrum Sumba Yanan! Thus, perform the dance. Hide the torma plate upwards, and think that it is filled with accomplishments. Sarva Siddhi Pala Ala La Ho! Thus, recite. Send the people who are carrying the torma ahead. Go behind them. Roll up the black banner and carry it. The wisdom red garuda, with its face looking backwards, reverses the traces of bhutas and demons. Om Vajra Garuda Hum
