May these fortunate vajra disciples be granted the subsequent permission of the body of Manjushri Nagaraja, and may the deity's body be quickly accomplished! Recite the mantra three times! Oh, this is the subsequent permission of the body. Then, visualize in the heart of the teacher, on a sun disc, the syllable Phei surrounded by a garland of mantras, from which rays of mantras emanate, entering your mouths. This is the granting of the earth. Now, in order to bestow the empowerment, please repeat. Glorious one, glory of destroying the three poisons, glory of destroying the fear of the nagas, glory of liberating from their harm, please grant me the empowerment. Now, this torma is for the naga demon Nāgarakṣa. Above, the guru in the lineage of Vajradhara. Around, the eight wisdom nagas and other retinues manifestly come to the crown of the head. We command, and you vow to do as such, so contemplate. Bhagavan Mañjuśrī, essence of the wisdom being, naga demon Nāgarakṣa, lord of death, king of knowledge with nine heads, all-pervading wisdom, wisdom naga demon with nine heads, naga rākṣasa, mighty lord of madness, black Phelam lord of death, Nāgarāja Rakṣa, to you I entrust this fortunate vajra disciple. Entrusted! Protect! Save! Nurture like a son! Naga king lineage, royal lineage, commoner lineage, brahmin, caṇḍāla, naga race of a hundred thousand, gnyan race of a hundred thousand, earth lord race of a thousand, demu race of a million, etc., protect so that the harm of earth demons and earth spirits cannot prevail. Leprosy, gnyan disease, scabies, cataracts, boils, fire sores, shin splints, kidney disease, dropsy, goiter, boils, the three kinds of sores, etc., pacify and liberate all diseases of nagas and earth lords, purify and cleanse, and make it so that they do not arise. Having thus received the empowerment, also protect the vows as much as possible, and thinking of holding this as a samaya, repeat. As the main one, etc. Offer a thanksgiving maṇḍala. The subsequent ritual is: Nāgarakṣa Andhaṃ, etc. Hūṃ, the cruel nagas, gnyan, earth lords, etc., destroying in an instant, Mañjuśrī's mind emanation, I praise you, black naga demon. Deficient and deteriorated, etc. Wisdom being in its natural place, Vajra Maḥ. Samaya being in its own heart, Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ. Oneself also dissolves from the place into the center and becomes emptiness. By this virtue may I quickly, etc. Thus, this swift empowerment of Nāgaraka.
