When domestic animals beat their chests with their hooves, it is an omen of the Matri goddesses. Turn ill omens, avert misfortune! A domestic animal with two heads and one body, is an omen of Matri demons and ogres. A domestic animal leading two others, is an omen of female demons and mothers. When a domestic animal evacuates its intestines, it is an omen of the red Tsen and 'Gong spirits. A domestic animal with one body and nine heads, is an omen of the nine classes of demons.
