At that time, all the brave Dakinis who control good and evil went to all the pure lands and reported to all the Buddhas. From the hearts of all the Buddhas of the ten directions, rays of light condensed into a single mass and dissolved into the southwestern Milk Ocean of the land of Oddiyana in the west. Accompanied by many auspicious signs, he appeared in the heart of a lotus flower as an eight-year-old boy. All the gods, nagas, heroes, and dakinis prostrated and made offerings to him with immeasurable offerings. There, he taught immeasurable secret mantra teachings. Then, he became the king of Oddiyana and established everyone in the Dharma, and thus he was named Padma Gyalpo. Then, he renounced and a crown appeared on his head. He was named Shakya Sengge. Then, he went to the Cool Grove and bound all the Dharma protectors by oath. At Vajrasana, he subdued all the demons and heretics, and thus he became known as Senge Dra Dro. Then, he went to all the lands of Jambudvipa and met the eighty great siddhas, exchanging many teachings and instructions. He stayed in the eight great charnel grounds and taught the Dharma to the heroes and dakinis. He hid many treasures. Then, when he was three thousand years old, Trisong Detsen, an emanation of Manjushri in Tibet, invited him. He bound by oath all the fierce gods and demons, including the twenty-one Upasikas, the twelve Matarah sisters, the eight great planets, and the twenty-eight constellations. He built many temples, including the glorious Samye Monastery. He taught immeasurable secret mantra teachings and filled the valley with accomplished ones. He blessed all the practice places and made the Buddha's teachings like the rising sun. Profound. Also, the Profound Gathering of All Jewels (Dharma), at the age of forty-something, was extracted by an emanation of Nyangben, with prophecies and prayers to benefit sentient beings. It was buried in the eastern Kongpo region, on a rock mountain resembling a vajra by the lake where dragons reside. Padmasambhava's footprints covered the entire Tibetan land, leaving no place even the size of a horse's hoof untouched. Countless treasures were hidden. Innumerable future prophecies were spoken. After Shakyamuni Buddha's Nirvana, about three thousand years later, the world will be destroyed by rakshasas. This is stated in the Sutras of Central Tibet. I am prophesied to subdue them. Now is the time for that. Therefore, I will go to subdue the rakshasas. After saying this, even though the Tibetan king, ministers, gods, and demons all dissuaded him, he did not agree. Now, the objects to be tamed by (Padmasambhava's) actual body are complete, and the compassionate emanations will continue to appear until samsara is empty. Especially for those who have faith and devotion to Padmasambhava, and between Padmasambhava and myself, there will not be a moment of separation. After saying this, all the gods, heroes, and dakinis welcomed him from the sky with the sound of music and clouds of offerings, and invited Padmasambhava into the center of the excellent horse and silk light. Rainbows of light swirled around, and he went to the southwestern Rakshasa Continent, placed the rakshasas in the Dharma, and resided there. After that, when the time of the degenerate age arrived, the mind emanation of Nyangben Tingdzin Zangpo, the great treasure revealer, was also called Rainbow Essence, also called Black Hung Blazing Fire, and also called Karma Lingpa. The Padma Teachings Thang Yig says: These treasures hidden in southern Kongpo and northern Kongpo will appear with the sign of being extracted without being left behind. A treasure revealer named Rainbow Essence will appear. As stated in the prophecy. At the time of his birth, there were auspicious signs such as sounds, lights, and rays. From a young age, he often met Orgyen Rinpoche at all auspicious times. When he was in retreat at the age of thirteen, Lord Wangchuk Dorje repeatedly appeared in his dreams, removing obstacles and increasing power. The dakinis and Guru Rinpoche also repeatedly gave prophecies of opening the doors of sacred places and revealing treasures. When he completed one hundred million recitations of Vajrapani, a great light emanated from his eyes, piercing into all the places where treasures were located and seeing them clearly, and thus he revealed many treasures.
