Above, below, and in all directions, the radiance of self-awareness, clear and empty wisdom, Samantabhadra, the five families, Vajrasattva, and the terrifying, blood-drinking emanated assembly. Since appearance is without inherent existence, light radiates from being completely filled, harming this deceased one, the life-cutting, radiance-stealing Yama iron demons. Arising from the cause of affliction and ignorance, in order to obstruct the path of the six causes of samsara, do not stay here, move elsewhere! Hūṃ Hūṃ Utsādaya Phaṭ! Oṃ Sumbhani, etc. Thus, whip them. Then, holding the action vase, say this: This is the water of the ten pāramitās, purifying the ten kinds of impurities, well establishing the water of the ten pāramitās, may you be purified by the water of the pāramitās! I prostrate to you, the deceased, who has performed the bathing well! Oṃ Vajrasattva Hūṃ! Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Abhiṣeka Te Samaya Śrīye Hūṃ! Holding sand, say this: Hūṃ! Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, these three are the three poisons of the world. The victorious ones of the five families have no poison, by the truth of the Buddha, poison is overcome. By what truth are the Buddhas, unsurpassed in all the world? By these supreme truths, may all the poisons of your five poisons be purified without inherent existence! Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, these three are the three poisons of the world. The Three Jewels have no poison, by the truth of the Three Jewels, poison is overcome. By these words of truth, may your body not be harmed by poison! All Yamas who are with poison, all of them arise from the three poisons. The poison of the three poisons is superior with poison, the fierce poison overcomes poison. Recite the mantra. The four elements are the father of poison, the four elements are also the mother of poison. By speaking these words of truth, may all poisons go into the four elements. May poison go into the filled vessel! May your poison be without poison! By the Three Jewels overcoming poison, take refuge in the Three Jewels. By the truth of the Three Jewels, and the blessing of samādhi and mantra, and you, son of the deceased lineage, may all poisons be completely purified! Recite the mantra. Then, sesame seeds in front on the right, and fire and water on the left.
