Place the name plaque on it according to the practice. With one recitation of the condensed practice of the Peaceful and Wrathful deities, Accomplish the self, front, and three vases with one ritual. Focus on the vase generation and recite the mantra one hundred and eight times. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions, endowed with compassion, Endowed with wisdom, endowed with love, please come to this place by the power of compassion! I offer the actually arranged and mentally emanated offerings. Compassionate ones, you possess the wisdom of knowledge, the activity of compassionate action, You possess inconceivable power of protection. Compassionate ones, you lead the deceased named "Je" from this world to the next. The burden is very heavy, there are no friends, the suffering is very great, there is no refuge, no protector, no relatives, the appearance of this life fades, entering into thick darkness. Falling into a great precipice, driven by the force of karma, wandering without support, without control. When the time comes to go alone, compassionate ones, you be the refuge for the helpless deceased! Be the protector for the protectorless! Be the relatives for the friendless! Protect from the great darkness of the bardo! Avert the great red wind of karma! Protect from the great fear of Yama! Liberate from the long and dangerous path of the bardo! Compassionate ones, do not diminish the power of compassion! Do not forget the vows of the past! Quickly exert the power of compassion! Do not let sentient beings be controlled by bad karma! I pray that the Three Jewels protect these deceased from the suffering of the bardo. Thus, recite and sprinkle water.
