I am the bow and arrow, In an instant, appearing as the union of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, dissolving into light, the essence of all Buddhas' skillful means and loving-kindness, transforming into the shape of a bow; the essence of wisdom, emptiness, and the great seal, transforming into the shape of an arrow. Ah Ah Ah, Om Ah Hum Svaha! (Tibetan: ཨ་ཨ་ཨ，Sanskrit Devanagari: आ आ आ，Sanskrit Romanization: ā ā ā，Literal Chinese meaning: Ah Ah Ah) Om Ah Hum Svaha! (Tibetan: ཨོ་ཨཱཧཱུྃ་སྭཱ་ཧི，Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ आः हूँ स्वाहा，Sanskrit Romanization: o āḥ hūṃ svāhā，Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah Hum Svaha) Then, aligning the arrow with the arrow shaft, holding the end of the shaft, point the arrow towards the western sky, O deceased one, listen! From here, you must go to the western realm of Sukhavati, where the Bhagavan Amitabha resides, surrounded by countless Bodhisattvas and noble Sangha, constantly turning the wheel of Dharma, son or daughter of the lineage, go with the gait of a lion! Look with the gaze of an elephant! With longing for that pure land in your heart, without your awareness being distracted, go swiftly like an arrow being shot! Go single-mindedly! Seize that great, eternal, pure land of bliss! From here to the western Sukhavati, there is the protector Avalokiteshvara, and Amitabha Buddha resides, surrounded by a retinue of Bodhisattvas, liberated from all the sufferings of samsara, the qualities of that pure land are beyond description, whoever holds his name, generates faith and reverence, it is said that they will be reborn in that supreme pure land. Therefore, you should generate great reverence! I am Vajrasattva, I am the guide on your supreme path! On the path between here and that pure land, your parents are me, your companions are me, shouting loudly, do not answer them! Do not look back! Do not be attached to nearby lands! Do not let suffering entangle your mind! Go to the land of Sukhavati! In order to cut the chains of attachment! Ra Mi Si Pi Khe Pam Ti (Tibetan: ར་མི་སི་པི་ཁེ་པཾ་ཏི，No Sanskrit equivalent, Literal meaning: No meaning). From this world to the west, there is a pure land called Sukhavati. There Amitabha Buddha resides, there is the great mother goddess White-clad Tara, on the right is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, on the left is the Bodhisattva Manjushri Kumara, in front is the Yogini red Girti, behind is the Yogini red Dhipam, the six principal deities and retinue of the Padma lineage, emanated Buddhas.

There are countless numbers, happiness and wonder are inconceivable, therefore it is called the Sukhavati realm. In that pure land's sacred and secluded place, may you, the son of the deceased who has changed bodies, also be born as the supreme son of the perfect Buddha, like a great archer shooting an arrow, may you realize all the bhumis and paths at once. Bhe pa su ghana ma ye svaha (Tibetan)! Phat (Tibetan)! May the consciousness of the deceased transform into a spotless white A (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), and like a great archer shooting an arrow, may it dissolve into the heart of Buddha Amitabha and awaken as a son of the Victorious One! Santri mama karma ta (Tibetan)! Phat (Tibetan)! Phat (Tibetan)! Phat (Tibetan)! May you be miraculously born again in that realm from a lotus, and may you effortlessly accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings as vast as the sky! Karma Eka Anusa (Tibetan)! Thus, one should perform the act of shooting towards the west. Then, place a butter lamp in the center of the mandala, Om Amrite Hum Phat (Tibetan)! Om Svabhava, etc. From the state of emptiness, inside a lotus-shaped cup, in the center of a white lotus flower that is just opening, on a moon disc of butter, surrounded by the mantra of Kamka, from the heart of all the deities of the mandala on the stem, the five-colored flames of the five wisdoms radiate, and on the stem, the five-colored flames of the five wisdoms blaze intensely, like discarding the old body of the deceased like tattered clothes, may all the sins and obscurations accumulated throughout all lifetimes, and the impure aggregates, elements, and sense bases, be burned away in an instant! The teacher holds the effigy attached to the tip of a reed, Hum (Tibetan)! In the homa pit of emptiness, for the five impure aggregates of the deceased, ignite the fire of the five wisdoms, karma and obscurations dzvala ram (Tibetan), may you quickly attain the omniscient Buddhahood! Hum (Tibetan)! From the mandala of the eastern heap, to the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, the fire like a mirror burns, the deceased's hatred dzvala ram (Tibetan), may you attain the body of the Vajra family! Hum (Tibetan)! From the mandala of the southern heap, to the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, the fire of equanimity burns, the deceased's pride dzvala ram (Tibetan), may you attain the body of the Ratna family! Hum (Tibetan)! From the mandala of the western heap, to the Bhagavan Amitabha, the fire of discriminating wisdom burns, the deceased's desire dzvala
