In the Tantra of La, the Lord of Secrets thus requested: "Oh, Bhagavan, Great Compassionate One! Yogis possess confidence in view and conduct. Please reveal the dance and song of ascetic conduct, the great secret lord." The Bhagavan replied: "In order to subdue the unruly spirits, to destroy the Sangha, for the mantra practitioner to be destroyed by enemies, for great obstacles to enter the temple, for the gods and demons of the world to fight and become unruly, in order to slay all the malicious enemy obstacles, this ascetic conduct should be performed." From "the dance that reduces enemies and obstacles to ashes, the dance that reduces the demon army to powder, the dance that cuts the six causes at their source, the dance that gathers the three realms under control, the dance that overwhelms the three thousand worlds with power, the dance that utterly destroys malice," and so on, it is extensively taught that it is not like ordinary songs and dances, but has great significance. The masked dances that are performed from time to time are not for curiosity or to deceive children's games. Now, seeing the mask of the blood-drinking wrathful deity, there is the benefit of recognizing the peaceful and wrathful deities in the bardo. As it is said in the "Self-Liberation Through Seeing, the Introduction to the Bardo of Dharmata": "Through the recognition of the Eighteen Great Terrifying Wrathful Ones, recognize the assembly of deities of the blood-drinking wrathful ones." Thus it is said. The gathering of the crowd to recite the six-syllable mantra is also different from reciting it casually. The meaning of reciting the six-syllable mantra for the peaceful and wrathful deities is that Guru Chokyi Wangchuk himself, in a pure dream vision, when he went to the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, Orgyen Rinpoche was performing the great accomplishment of the peaceful and wrathful secret perfection, and also erected a mandala of Great Compassion. The disciple Pal Yang said, "Just practice the ritual of Great Compassion alone." When asked why, the Guru said, "Because the Rakshasas have great sins, the Great Compassion that purifies sins should not be mixed. You Tibetans have no small sins, so do it this way." Furthermore, when Ratna Lingpa went to the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain in a pure vision, Orgyen Rinpoche opened many mandalas, such as the mandala of great accomplishment, and in the vision, the women were mainly engaged in the practice of Mani. Thus it is said, so here also mainly

Since it is purification of obscurations, it propagates the peaceful and wrathful deities and Great Compassion. Most of the Dharma cycles of the peaceful and wrathful deities are also the Peaceful and Wrathful Ones, the Self-Liberation of Intentions. Great Compassion is a common Dharma of both Padma Peaceful and Wrathful Ones, and also within this mandala reside the deities of Great Compassion, Avalokiteśvara, so the connection is very close. The benefits of reciting the six-syllable mantra are also stated in the Sutra of the Arrangement of the Treasure Trove: 'Son of good family, for example, I can count the measure of minute particles, but son of good family, I cannot count the accumulation of merit from reciting the great mantra of the six syllables once.' Thus it is said. 'Son of good family, for example, all the men, women, boys, and girls residing in the four great continents will abide in the seventh bodhisattva ground. Compared to the accumulation of merit of a bodhisattva, the accumulation of merit from reciting the great mantra of the six syllables once is extremely great.' Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Great Compassion, the King of Lotuses, it says: Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ma(藏文:མ,梵文天城体:म,梵文罗马拟音:ma,汉语字面意思:嘛), Ni(藏文:ཎི,梵文天城体:णि,梵文罗马拟音:ṇi,汉语字面意思:呢), Padme(藏文:པདྨེ,梵文天城体:पद्मे,梵文罗马拟音:padme,汉语字面意思:呗), Hum(藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:美). Reciting it once with faith liberates sentient beings from the diseases of hell. Reciting it twice blocks the door to the realm of the pretas. Reciting it three times blocks the lower realms. Thus it is said. In the Prose Kadam Anthology, it says: Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Mani(藏文:མ,梵文天城体:म,梵文罗马拟音:ma,汉语字面意思:嘛), Padme(藏文:ཎི,梵文天城体:णि,梵文罗马拟音:ṇi,汉语字面意思:呢), Hum(藏文:པདྨེ,梵文天城体:पद्मे,梵文罗马拟音:padme,汉语字面意思:呗), Hum(藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:美). This six-syllable mantra is the essence of the noble Avalokiteśvara, so if you recite it a hundred times each day, you will not be reborn in the lower realms, and in the future, you will obtain a human body and see the face of the noble Avalokiteśvara. If you recite it twenty-one times regularly, you will become stable. Your voice will become melodious. You will become skilled in the meaning of all Dharmas. If you recite it seven times each day, all sins will be exhausted. All obscurations will be purified. In whatever lifetime you are born, you will never be separated from the noble Avalokiteśvara. If you recite it regularly, you will attain Buddhahood in this very life. Thus it is said. When Orgyen Padmasambhava went to subdue the rakshasas in the southwest, in the testament he left for Tibet, he also said: All the lords and subjects of future generations should have compassion.
