In terms of transformation, after the vastness beyond the formless, when the contaminated or uncontaminated arises, it ceases because the conditions for the arising of the formless are incomplete. That cessation is non-discriminating cessation, not discriminating cessation. Because separation from the antidote of the contaminated is discriminating cessation, and the formless of the non-learner is uncontaminated, there is no inconsistency with the noble ones, so it is impossible to be separated from the antidote. Therefore, the object of focus is the non-discriminating exhaustion of the formless samadhi of the non-learner, that is, focusing on cessation, only attending to the aspect of peace, and not attending to the aspects of cessation, excellence, and definite emergence. The order is that cessation is not common with the cessation of impermanence, and if one focuses on the cessation of impermanence, then non-discriminating permanence will be overthrown. If it is overthrown, then the overthrower of the formless will be overthrown, so the formless to be overthrown will not be overthrown. If excellence is virtuous, then non-discrimination is unspecified. Definite emergence is the separation from what is to be abandoned by the antidote and the definite arising from samsara, if non-discrimination is not separated by the power of the antidote. The latter three samadhis are all contaminated, because the uncontaminated noble path (because it is seen as a virtue, therefore to it) is not hated, but these turn their backs on the former three samadhis, because they hate the noble path, so they are seen as something to be abandoned. Therefore, these are also called the samadhi that refutes liberation. The basis is that, due to intelligence, it arises only among humans (of the three continents). (That is, the human body is the basis for aging, sickness, death, etc., so like diseases, it also leads to unpleasant thoughts about contaminated actions. It is not for the gods, because most bodies are without fault.) The person is, because of sharp faculties, has the ability to generate it, so it arises only in the Arhat who possesses the immovable Dharma nature, and not in other Arhats because of dull faculties. (The learner does not hate the noble path because there are remaining tasks. The liberation of time does not refute it because it strives to protect the noble path.)

Oṃ. The ground exists in the four dhyānas, the three formless realms, and the desire realm.) Because it cannot be generated. Therefore, in order for the noble ones to abide happily in the present dharma, and in order to turn away from the non-learning emptiness samādhi, which has become the place of all attachments, the sectarians believe that one should enter into other samādhis. The Mahāyāna practitioners, as it is said in the Manifestation of Enlightenment, "Because the mind has no self-nature, and the fruits and causes have all been abandoned," believe that the samādhi that abides in the emptiness of the self-nature, fruits, and causes of all dharmas is the emptiness samādhi, etc. Furthermore, because they believe that these samādhis are the realization of the emptiness of the self-nature of all dharmas, etc., or the realization of the emptiness of emptiness itself, etc., they are considered to be without outflows. In the Compendium of Ascertainments, the three samādhis of emptiness, wishlessness, and signlessness are taught in terms of the three objects of the imputed, the dependent, and the perfectly established. Therefore, the samādhi arising from hearing and thinking, the worldly samādhi arising from meditation, and the supramundane samādhi arising from meditation, are respectively emptiness, etc., emptiness samādhi, etc., and the door of liberation emptiness, etc. The ground exists in the proximity samādhi from the second dhyāna to the peak of existence, except for the seven (because the seven proximity samādhis above and below are focused on tranquility and roughness, and will not harm the noble path that eliminates afflictions), in the desire realm and the six dhyāna grounds, and the four formless realm grounds, a total of eleven places. Furthermore, the Blessed One said that there are four ways to cultivate samādhi: cultivating samādhi, if practiced universally, cultivated habitually, and practiced repeatedly, there will be the case of abiding happily in the present dharma, and even cultivating samādhi, if practiced universally, cultivated habitually, and practiced repeatedly, there will be the ability to see wisdom, the ability to distinguish wisdom well, and the ability to exhaust afflictions. Regarding what has been said, whether it is with outflows or without outflows, in the pure (autonomous or without outflows) first dhyāna, abiding
