It is said that both of us know the first two moments, which is just a symbol. The Hearer will know as many as possible of the two moments of the same kind, while the Solitary Realizer will know as many as possible of the three, namely two of the same kind and one of a different kind. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is one whose all deeds are naturally accomplished, so without the effort arising from diligence, he will know all the moments of the wisdom of the path of seeing. As it is said: You who have perfected virtue, have no virtues arising from diligence. Whatever you wish, depends only on your wish. Then, what is the difference between the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising? The scriptures say: What is the knowledge of exhaustion? It is the knowledge that knows "I have known suffering," and the knowledge that knows "I have abandoned the origin, I have manifested cessation, I have cultivated the path," and the knowledge, seeing, wisdom, intelligence, discrimination, wisdom, light, and realization that arise from its cause, this is called the knowledge of exhaustion. What is the knowledge of non-arising? It is the knowledge that knows "I have completely known suffering, and there is no need to completely know it again," up to the knowledge that knows "I have cultivated the path, and there is no need to cultivate it again," and the knowledge that arises from its cause, up to this is called the knowledge of non-arising. Therefore, the knowledge of exhaustion is about the truths such as suffering, knowing "I have completely known suffering," and what is included by "I have abandoned the origin, I have manifested cessation, I have cultivated the path," which is determined by the subsequent knowledge arising from knowledge during meditative equipoise. Similarly, in meditative equipoise, knowing "I have completely known suffering, and there is no need to completely know it again," etc., the knowledge obtained after rising from realization, which is determined by knowledge, is what the Kashmiris consider to be the mind of non-arising. The Sun-lower ones think that in meditative equipoise, there are others besides the sixteen aspects of the uncontaminated, so it is determined by that. Then, the scriptures say "seeing," so these two knowledges will become seeing, because seeing and seeing are synonymous. If admitted, then exhaustion and non-

If asked, does this contradict "wisdom is not seeing"? It does not contradict. Is seeing a term discarded by wisdom? Is it merely a term? Or, without relying on scriptural or logical proofs, it is directly realized like the eye consciousness seeing form, therefore, for the knowledge of suffering and so on, and for those that are known and need not be known again, it is merely calling wisdom seeing, and it is not the nature of conceptualization, and seeing does not pervade viewing (the former is present in both sharp and dull-witted arhats, while the latter is only for those with immovable dharma). Seeing is not. Therefore, it is also said in the scriptures: For the time being, whatever is wisdom is also seeing. This says that wisdom and seeing are synonymous, but there are also cases where it is seeing but not wisdom, such as the eight forbearance that belong to the category of direct realization. Seeing and viewing are not synonymous. The summary verses on wisdom are: Conventional, dharma, and subsequent knowledge, these three are explained as ten. Conventional wisdom itself and, mind wisdom part. Dharma wisdom is, itself and the four noble truths wisdom, cessation and non-arising mind wisdom eight. Subsequent knowledge is also knowing the three truths, itself and cessation and non-arising wisdom. Dharma wisdom subsequent knowledge and, five are cessation and non-arising, each of the four noble truths wisdom and, dharma wisdom subsequent knowledge and seven. Mind wisdom dharma wisdom subsequent knowledge and, path wisdom conventional wisdom and, itself and five are path wisdom. Itself and dharma wisdom subsequent knowledge and, mind wisdom cessation and non-arising, it is correctly said to have six types. Secondly, why are these three wisdoms divided into ten? From the nature of contaminated things, it is conventional wisdom, because it does not understand the ultimate meaning of conventional wisdom. From the antidote, there are two: dharma wisdom and subsequent wisdom, because they are the antidotes to the desire realm and the upper realms respectively. From the aspect, the knowledge of suffering and the knowledge of origin are separated, because both focus on the aggregates of clinging, so there is no different object, and it is established because the aspects of impermanence and so on and the causes and so on are different. From both aspect and object, that is, the two objects (different), the knowledge of cessation and the knowledge of the path are separated, because cessation and so on and the path
