And the moment of non-action is the actual path of karma. Thereafter, the non-action, and actions such as skinning, washing, selling meat, cooking, eating, drinking, and shouting, are the conclusion. Similarly, wanting to take another's property as one's own, from the act of going, to taking and hiding, etc., is the preparation for taking what is not given. When the thought of having obtained it arises, moving from the place or taking possession, the moment of action and non-action at that time is the reality. Thereafter is the conclusion, and so forth should also be known. The three, such as covetousness, become the main action merely upon manifestation, therefore there is no preparation or conclusion. If the object to be killed is in the state of dying, is the killer's action and non-action at that time the actual path of karma? Or is it the action and non-action of the already dead object? If it is like the first case, then the killer and the being to be killed dying together also becomes real, which contradicts the explanation that "dying before and together, because no real different body is born." If it is like the second case, then the action and non-action at the time of whatever strikes and actually kills becomes unreal, because there is no death at that time. There is no fault, because the so-called killing refers to the fruition of the preparation, the actual path of karma is complete, therefore the moment of action and non-action at the time when the being dies is the actual path of karma. Then, in the scriptures, is there killing of beings where the killing is not interrupted? The answer is: yes. For example, cutting off the life of a being, the preparation does not become non-existent, is it contradictory to such a statement? The Vaibhashikas say: There, it is said that the conclusion is the meaning of preparation, because cutting off the life of a being also has conclusions such as cutting, extracting the heart, cutting off the head, etc., that are not interrupted. The teacher says, if that is the case, then it contradicts your own view, because you consider the reality of the path of karma to be after the being dies, then at that time the actual killing
